In the short time I have put this post together, this blog has received several trans females seeking to detransition.

What once was an occasional search, today is an almost hourly search, and that is merely from those who seek information here. Some may call this progress in the fight against lesbian genocide and lezbophobia, but I see it for what it is. War wounded lesbian youth permanently scarred, disfigured or suffering from an unspoken, undocumented, unnamed shell shock.

Here's nine more grist victims for the war mills of misogny. I'm sure we'll catch some of them on the flipside of transition soon.

  1. Sixteen is too young for females to take testosterone. One girl in the video says she is sixteen and she will be starting testosterone. How can a sixteen year old give full consent to taking synthetic hormones that could have lasting permanent side effects?

It’s a scientific fact that the pre-frontal cortex of the human brain which is sometimes called the judgment center of the brain isn’t fully developed until the early to mid-twenties.

The prefrontal cortex, the part of the frontal lobes lying just behind the forehead, is often referred to as the “CEO of the brain.” This brain region is responsible for cognitive analysis and abstract thought, and the moderation of “correct” behavior in social situations. The prefrontal cortex takes in information from all of the senses and orchestrates thoughts and actions to achieve specific goals. This brain region gives an individual the capacity to exercise “good judgment” when presented with difficult life situations.

There is a reason why adolescents are allowed to vote, buy alcohol, take out bank loans, etc. They lack maturity and process information differently than adults.

Again, how can they give informed consent?

  2. I want to follow up on 16 year old girls and testosterone. Below is information from a INFORMED CONSENT FOR TESTOSTERONE THERAPY.

IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS INFORMATION STOP AND ASK FOR CLARIFICATION (***How many 16 year old teenagers really understand what is being done to them, and lack the judgment or maturity to make informed decisions.)

I have been informed that the masculinizing effects of testosterone therapy may take several months to become noticeable and more than five (5) years to be complete. Some of these changes will be permanent including:

    * Hair loss, especially at my temples and crown of my head, possibly male pattern baldness
    * Facial hair growth (i.e., beard, mustache)
    * Deepening of my voice
    * Increased body hair growth (i.e., on arms, legs, chest, back, buttocks, and abdomen, etc.)
    * Enlargement of my clitoris

I understand that is it not known exactly what the effects of testosterone are on fertility. I have been informed that if I stop taking testosterone, I may not be able to become pregnant in the future. I have been advised to undergo gamete (egg) banking if this is a concern of mine. (***The sterilization of children is often viewed as a human rights abuse.)

I understand that brain structures are affected by testosterone and estrogen. The long term effects of changing the levels of one’s natal estrogen through the use of testosterone therapy have not been scientifically studied and are impossible to predict. These effects may be beneficial, damaging, or both.

  3. How are people supposed to explain all of following to 16 year old girls? I'm assuming that the parents give permission for doctors to prescribe testosterone to teenage girls. Indeed, the parents no doubt pay for it. Children do not have the judgment and maturity to make informed consent. This is something being done to them. Wait ten to fifteen years and see the lawsuits from the damaged and possibly infertile adults.

"I understand that the endometrium (lining of the uterus) is able to turn testosterone into estrogen and may increase the risk of cancer of the endometrium. Not having periods may increase this risk. Continued pelvic exams and cervical cancer screenings are strongly recommended unless there has been a removal of the ovaries, uterus, and cervix."

I understand fatty tissue in the breasts and body is able to turn excess testosterone into estrogen, which may increase
my risk of breast cancer and decrease or impede the desired effects of testosterone therapy.

I have been informed that testosterone may lead to liver inflammation and damage. I have been informed that I will be
monitored for liver problems before starting testosterone therapy and periodically during therapy.

I have been informed that if I take testosterone my good cholesterol (HDL) will probably go down and bad cholesterol
(LDL) will go up. This may increase my risk of heart attack or stroke in the future. The rates for FTMs on testosterone are
similar to that of natal males.

I understand that testosterone therapy may cause changes in my emotions and moods and that my providers can assist
me to find support services and other resources to explore and cope with these changes.

  4. Why assume all transmen are lesbians?

  5. Why assume all transmen are lesbians?

True, but every FTM that I've known had a girlfriend, or was lesbian before she "transitioned". The most well known FTMs such Chaz Bono and Thomas Beatie, the "pregnant man" FTM have always preferred women. Chaz Bono came out as a lesbian long before she got her breasts lopped off and became a "man". Thomas Beatie is on her second marriage to a woman. She gave birth to three babies through artificial insemination AFTER she legally changed her sex to male.

I can see the benefits of claiming male and heterosexual status.

In places like Iran, gay men and lesbians are coerced into sex reassignment surgery. In western countries, we just go about our gay and lesbian eugenics in a more subtle way. We slap a label of "transgender" on them when they are 6 or 7 years old. Then, doctors sterilize them with GnRH agonists (puberty suppression) and cross gender hormones. At age 18 (16 in some places), their genitals are surgically altered.

  6. @Anonymous 7/29, 10:15 -

Historically, virtually all trans men were people who were sexually attracted to women. This is what the studies showed.

Looking online, you can now find trans men who talk about being gay men. Some say they are asexual. Some talk about being feminine. What they have in common is that they don't like their bodies (although God help us, there are some young people who like their bodies, but still want to take hormones, etc. to change them - not that it's really better if they don't like their bodies, just more understandable).

It still seems to be true, though, that most trans men are attracted to women, even among younger people. For kids who come out today, one of the questions they consider is, am I a lesbian/gay or trans? They may be part of support groups that subtly encourage transition. Or they might have a conservative family and live in conservative area and read on the Internet that they might be a man/woman inside and this sounds better to them.

Anyhow, this is a long-winded way to say that probably most of the trans men looking at this site are sexually attracted to women.

  7. I once knew a gay man and afer his transition he was suddenly a lesbian. Figure that out.
But I agree, most FTM's were dating girls before their transition. It's odd that some of them end up with gay men, because some gay men really like FTM's because of the "bonus hole". It's a wierd world at times.

  8. The fact that you displayed these YOUNG MEN'S transitions on your blog without their knowledge is wrong in itself. Just because you think it is wrong doesn't mean it is for them. Granted, there are SOME that do regret it after transition, but that is almost less than 5% of them. How would you feel if you woke up the next day as a different sex? Would you want to live the rest of your life that way or be happy? I have a many close friends who have transitioned or who are doing it (ONE of which was featured in this post) and none have regret. One of them is in his mid thirdies and transitioned after his service in the army when he was young and still has no regret like you're saying they will. It's not your body, why does it even matter what they are doing for themselves? Posts like these are what make me sick. Oh, by the way, I'm trans and I've never been more comfortable before in my life saying it! (:

  9. leave these people the hell alone, you aren't in their heads. they have every right to be who they want to be.

  10. Trans females are MTFs, you uneducated idiot. Also, take these pictures down unless you have permission to use them. Thanks, bro!

  11. One of these MEN is my best friend. How about you A: get HIS permission to use HIS name and picture as an example of your ignorance, or B: remove HIM completely off of this post. How are you so dense, so STUPID, that you're transphobic and a member of the LGBT community? You have no right to call any of these brave individuals wrong, confused, or lost. A person's identity is NOT your hot-button topic opinion.

  12. Females who transition are trans females, males who transition are trans males. I have yet to have heared of a female who transitions (cosmetics) suddenly changing into a biological male. If you know of such a female, please link.

And Katie, I rarely post anything about men here, this is a space for females as there are so few in the world.

Also Katie, you might want to familiarize yourself with the Fair Use Act, obviously any person who posts videos or pictures on YT or the internet like your friend, would be well aware.

    1. But my friend, you still ignore the chosen language of their community (something that you are surely cognizant of, given what I can discern of your experiences), and that's what is really a transgression.

And yeah, you're kinda protected under fair use. Kinda. Would like to stress that you could theoretically get sued - and lose. I like declaring fair use, but this is a bit trickier. Just because something is online doesn't make it community property.

  13. First off, you arent my friend.

Next, language is a tool of communication. When used incorrectly it leads to miscommunication. It is also something for which where there are words strung together so perfectly, beautifully and exquisitely that I would give my own life to preserve theirs for future generations to experience.

Third, I challenge ANYONE to sue me, because I assure you there will be a media invite/storm the likes of which will be remembered for decades and the plight of young lesbians will be front page news across the globe.

Fourth, just because something is online, doesnt mean you have to read it.

  14. You are fucking disgusting. I hope one day someone locks you up for you to rot. What you're doing is illegal and I really hope someone does something about it, you transphobic piece of shit. You are the reason feminism is bullshit.

  15. It's not illegal to repost PUBLIC pics. get a clue. are you new to the Internet?
Also, why do so many people, like you^, that don't like the content here want dirt "locked up", or worse? Seriously? Dirt posts something you don't Luke, so leers lock her up? I hope you realize what is wrong with this line of thinking.

dirt is doing a service here, whether you appreciate it or not. This trans thing is really damaging to women; it eliminates lesbians, erases women, and puts children at risk of grave harm. If one is considering trans, they need to learn all about it, not just the roses passed out from trans advocates.
