I read the quote below from Jeanette Winterson's recent memoir Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal?.... "my sense of myself as being a girl who’s a boy who’s a boy who’s a girl".

This quote perhaps more than anything I've read or written myself perfectly sums up that early gender confusion many females feel, which begins before most of us are able to even speak. A confusion so tightly woven that it usually takes decades to begin unraveling and another decade to make sense of.

In between feeling one's self "a girl who’s a boy who’s a boy who’s a girl" and decades later of gaining the intelligence, insight and maturity to see through the bullshit that is the gender straight jacket, there are years and years of deep shame, a shame so intense and ugly our own body becomes the enemy! A body we've been spoon fed since birth that is inferior, weak and should always be at the sexual disposal of men, either visually or literally or both. A body whose natural functions further the shame separating us from other females and later create intimacy issues with lovers where there should be none. A shame because we cannot be that boy who's really a girl.

These feelings are as old as the gender straight jacket itself, that sense of wrongness and failure and self hatred. Which is why it is important for us to discuss, challenge and ultimately dismantle the Gender Straight Jacket. So that future girls wont have to spend decades learning to love themselves and see themselves as the supreme beings that they truly are.

As we move from the conservative anti feminist post-queer gender fluid body politic toward the male medical machine's 2013 gender incongruence, we are encountering with a greater frequency the use of "gender variant" by both queer and medical groups alike. Gender Variant has been created to describe what queer/medical groups deem "behaviour or gender expression that does not conform to dominant gender norms of male and female".

The creation and implication of such a term only strengthens the already circumscribed notions of female and male/feminine and masculine. And by labeling behaviour as female/male/feminine/masculine we maintain an ignorant limited view of the sexes and preserve the limited possibilities for the sexes. Gender Variant also implies a difference where in truth, there is none. A female with short hair who works construction is still a female!

Female and male is simply what we are born, not what toys we play with, what colours we like, what clothes we wear or what careers we choose! Expand what it means to be female or male and toss in the nearest garbage bin where it belongs, gender variant, which only maintains the limits of who we are and what is possible for us based on our sex.

Our Would Be Hacker?

This is just a snapshot of how often the female transitioner who calls herself "More" seeks out this blog. Keep in mind it is only a little after 11am and already her obsession has ran wild. This isnt a sign of a "man" comfortable and "happy" with himself, it is a sign of a very mentally disturb woman. Many follow this blog, many comment, but this isnt merely checking in a few times a day to see if something were posted or following up on a comment, this is pure unhealthy obsession!

Sadly most who develop the trans disorder are already suffering from various other disorders that like the trans disorder go either untreated or treated wrongly based on the ignorance with which the male medical machine views the trans disorder. Either way, what we wind up with far too often is a woman like "More", drugged, mutilated, miserable and obsessed.

What anyone with the trans disorder doesnt seem to comprehend is, silencing some random blog, will NEVER silence the TRUTH. And the truth is in EVERY single cell in and of your FEMALE body. And a clue to the clueless, your body consists of a brain, made up of the very same FEMALE cells.

Now whether you would like to ignorantly believe a group of man cells got together in your mother's womb and created your brain while the rest of your entire body was developed with female DNA I personally could give a flying fuck. Whether you want to shoot your body full of synthetic male hormones with no long term studies that are known to cause anything from liver failure, heart attacks and various forms of cancer, again is of no concern of mine. Whether you want to drop a few pretty penny's at your local court house so you can legally pretend to be a sex you arent and will never be, zero to do with me.

BUT, when you are so fucking insecure about your pretend life that you try to silence my personal spaces, I do care! Just because you're floating dead in the gender ocean, doesnt mean that one cannot and should not challenge, discuss and disseminate information for those still on the beaches, in hopes of saving them from whats sure to be a shortened and miserable life!

I dont care whether you stick yourself in the ass with a dozen vials of "T" and have your breast butchered to boot, but NO ONE is going to stop me from telling the awful truths about the affects of that "T" in and on the female body, the horrors of the ugly brutality of "top surgery" regardless of all the "looks great bro" comments or the absolute homophobia that still is the foundation for transition period!

Female Transition and the Unchangable Female Body

We are led to believe by both the male medical machine and those in the never ending state of transition, that powerful sex hormones and mutilative surgeries will change their female body to appear male, and that by doing so their "gender" dysphoria will magically disappear and they will be "cured" of their MENTAL disorder.

To anyone who has suffered with body shame so intense that it has literally impacted not only how you see and feel about yourself, but your intimate relationships with lovers, the notion that one could transition out of the body one is so ashamed may sound like a dream come true.

The interesting thing about nature is her steadfastness, her ability to persist regardless of man-made changes. Even the concrete man has paved our highways and byways with cannot withstand nature. Nature will ALWAYS shine through, concrete be damned!

Thats the thing about opposite sex hormones and mutilative surgeries, the true nature of the body ALWAYS remains. It remains as a reminder to that person's nature. And where there are constant reminders, when dysphoria isnt dealt with and worked through mentally, those reminders only increase that dysphoria.

Take Buck Angel for example. Buck Angel is considered a "successful" female transitioner. But regardless of all the male hormones, steroids, diets, workouts, and every other concrete road poured to disguise her female body, her natural female body remains firmly intact. Whether clothed or naked, that womanly body nature birthed, remains.

Passing to the public means nothing, we must all face ourselves in the morning mirror. Transition has yet to stop a female body from being and looking like a female body. It has also yet to cure any form of dysphoria the mind may attach to that body.

I have long been an admirer of O'keefe, whom I learned about coincidently from Patti Smith. I specifically recall seeing a documentary on O'Keefe while in my teens. O'keefe was in her early 90's. Given that its nearly Christmas, I was thinking about the gifts children ask for and the gifts children receive strictly due to their sex and the negative messages both send to children. Then Christmas morning comes and with every present that is opened that's a doll or a dress her heart sinks more and more till all gifts are opened and not one was the only present she'd asked for. I have been rewatching it for the past few days and just finished it this morning, with both tears and smiles. I watched it originally when it aired in 1980. I recall even as a 12 year old, being quite moved and motivated for the next few years to learn all I could about the First World War, particularly the artists and poets that both died and survived its horrors.

Testament of Youth is both a good watch and an ever better read, I hope some of you take the time to watch the piece. Vera Brittain is an inspiration to all females, past, present and future!

Transition ends yet another relationship-Chaz Bono and Jennifer Elia's

Since Chaz and Jennifer's break up are already being discuss in the comments....

The once lesbian couple weathered many ups and downs during their more than a decade together, but transition, like a hurricane, completely leveled the foundation and any remaining structures of Chaz and Jennifer's relationship. Apparently Jennifer had some previous drinking issues that not surprisingly resurfaced when Chaz sprang her transition on Jen. Seems all the talk from Jennifer (like we hear all too often from a lesbian partner in the pre and/or initial stages of her female partner's transition) regarding how wonderful transition was for their relationship was just that, talk!

I definitely had many fears and trepidations regarding Chaz Bono publicizing and glorifying transition. Worried that her lauding to the media that transition is actually some viable solution for female self hatred in the absence of a fundamental feminism would only increase the already towering numbers of Trans Trending that is occurring among young women and girls today. But some assured me that Chaz as dual poster ~~boy~~ and public spectacle for female transition might actually be have an opposing effect. And the more we hear from and about Chaz, her transition and its many fall outs, I think now that they were right.

Chaz truly has become the poster ~~boy~~ for female transition:

1) She was your basic tweener dyke, who still make up the majority of female transitioners.
2) Four years into transition and she still appears quite female.
3) Testosterone has not only redistributed her weight to her waist, it has also dangerously increased it.
4) She has odd facial hair growth.
5) Her long term lesbian relationship has ended due to her transition and obsession with it.

While Chaz is only one female who is in transition, everything that has happened to her, her body, her relationships can easily happen to any woman who falls prey to this gender straight jacketed nonsense!

Chaz Bono: A warning to the dangers of female transition if there ever was one!

And yes, I too suspect that if she hasnt already succumbed to a desire for dick, it is only a matter of time.

The move to teach children the current ignorant homophobic notions of "trans/ition" (rather than the reality of this disorder, how its developed and brutally treated ) highlighted in this article is nothing short of fucking frightening! Should children be taught to see/live beyond the gender straight jacket shoved down their throats? ABSOLUTELY! Especially female children, as the gender straight jacket has been created/updated to hold/keep them down as well as sexualize them for the masturbatory male gaze that is gazing at females at younger and younger ages. But certainly, children whom are most impressionable, should NOT be used by trans advocates to fortify their draughty identities and ever changing sexualities.

This quote is spot on with a clear trans agenda: "Transgender people include those who have had sex change operations and people who have both male and female sexual organs". The large bolded part is a flat out lie! Those born with a combination of xx/xy biology are INTERSEXED, not trans! Trans advocates are trying to confuse their social disorder with that of a clear biological birth state. This is a serious breech of political ethics that is both dangerous and a flat out immoral co-option of the Intersexed in order to lend legitimacy to faux trans identity.

Using children to legitimize their social disorder is reaching an all time low for trans advocates! We can teach the ills of bullying in our schools without proliferating social disorders as licit birth states or life choices! We can teach our children that their sex should never be informed by misogyny and the gender straight jacket for starters which would stop this disorder from ever developing in the first place!

of systemic sexism at UVM. The past year alone has witnessed rape, multiple sexual assaults, and anti-abortion chalking in public spaces. While the university administration has laid off long-time Women's and Gender Studies faculty and supported sexist institutions like Sigma Phi Epsilon, it has refused to take concerted action to combat sexism and rape culture. We
demand that instead of diverting resources into vast salaries for its
administrators, UVM should launch an aggressive campaign against sexism and rape culture, and it should expand institutions such as Women's and Gender Studies and the Women's Center at UVM. Furthermore, UVM must immediately disband Sigma Phi Epsilon. An institution that discusses who it wants to rape has no place at UVM or in the Burlington community.

So its not socially acceptable for a boy to wear a dress but is becoming acceptable to suppress his natural hormones and have encourage surgery at 18 young years to fit into what our culture says is sexual/gender "appropriate"? And for everyone to pretend that he is a girl? He's male. Some boys are like this. Really. Some boys like Barbie and dress up and high heels. How about the culture deal with THAT? I was a kid that would have been called trans if I was growing up now -- in fact as a young adult I've been encouraged to transition many times in my life... I'm still wearing "boys" clothes, underwear. Never once payed with a Barbie. I wanted to be a boy. Wanted a penis, wanted to fuck girls, wanted to play boy sports... I've been wearing boys clothes almost exclusively my whole life... Never a Barbie or a baby doll have I played with. Its been a struggle esp in the last 15 years of trans glorification to resist the temptation for an easy fix. It seems like a pill (shot) you can take and start over from a different form factor. And wallah! everything is better.

Raising a little girl -- even in progressive San Francisco bay area -- watching gender being fed to her in so many subtle and not so subtle ways ... has made the gender binary system even clearer to me. (Although so many parents do not hardly see it) And honestly, she loves being a girly girl but its so obvious that it is enforced and rewarded... There is so little choice for GENDER expression in our culture. It's kind of a nightmare!

It's not about me, or my daughter, any individual though. It's about a progressive movement that is acting *super conservative* about gender. I've been upset about this for at least 15 years and its only getting worse and mainstream. There was not one thing in that article that was revolutionary about gender. It is so disturbing that so many kids are just trying to fit into whats acceptable to the culture in terms of gender. People are willing to hate their bodies and themselves in order to fit into society. As adults in this society, we must fight for all of our precious bodies and minds. We must learn to love our bodies. We must be clear where the problem lies.

It's so PC wrong to be saying all this but I can't just sit here and watch smart people encourage or applaud this narrow mindedness and call it revolutionary.

Seeing how I receive many hits here for those seeking info about "gay trans~~men~~", let me dare to pose some common sense and reason to those seekers: THERE ARE NO GAY TRANS~~MEN~~!

Transmen are female's who legally only change there sex. It is impossible to literally, by that I mean biologically, change one's sex. Posing and passing as a man does not in any way shape or form make you a man.

Given that the "man" in trans~~man~~ is legal status only and not true sex, a female who dates/is sexually attracted to males would in fact be a heterosexual female.

You would be hard pressed to find a single lesbian only org. among all university in the US. Between uni's that have GlBT groups/orgs, the "L" is either silent or non existent. It is not at all uncommon for queer/trans females to attend lesbian meetings and/or dances outright ignoring LESBIAN in the "lesbian meeting" or "lesbian dances". Lesbian Studies have been completely removed from uni curricula and Women's Studies are nearly extinct in favour of Queer Studies or Gender Studies, both of which work to erase feminist gains from 2nd/3rd wave feminist and reinforce strict gender norms.

Leading lesbian figures both political and popular must begin extolling and reflecting lesbianism in a way to give rise to a lesbian visibility unseen before AND challenge queer/trans groups usurping lesbian identity and lesbian spaces. For if we do not, we will continue to lose young lesbians to a combination of misogyny and lezbophoia that takes shape in the form of transition. And for those who do not succumb to the trans disorder, these lesbians will just continue to be lost amid the queer alphabet.

To the young lesbians reading this: All is not lost. Even if few others see you, I see you and recognize you and recognize myself in you. I will continue to fight for you, for your/our spaces, for our lesbian identity, our lesbian visibility and for the sheer right to just be a lesbian!

Trans Propaganda and Struggles to Silence the Female Voice

At some point the other night several trans tumblrs tried to utilize their Tumblr accounts to reach excessive membership in hopes they would assist them in a hate campaign to have this blog shut down by reporting to Blogger that this space "incites hate". I know, both laughable, ignorant and emotionally reactionary without any internal insight as to why they're strongly reacting in the first place.

Zero internal insight is a prime factor in those who develop the trans disorder. There is such a high concentration on the external that the internal seemingly becomes a byproduct of the external, rather than the other way 'round. This enables the trans disordered to ignore their core self in order to construct a pseudo identity based on the construction of a fantasy physical self that is never fully realized through medical means, leaving the core self vulnerable to any internal insight that manages to penetrate the masculine veneer of testosterone and mutilative scars.

These are some of the prime reasons this blog or rather the information this blog provides and the misogyny it challenges and works to dismantle are threats to those who cannot afford to contemplate its messages and meanings. Because to the trans disordered these messages and meanings are like arrows that DO penetrate the male medically created trans veneer, hitting their core self like the target of a bullseye!
What those suffering from the trans disorder do not understand is that silencing me (as if) will silence the muffled screams coming from their core self. It wont.

Needless to say both campaigns to have this blog shut down were removed by Tumblr, as both illegally were spreading the "hate" they were accusing me of, as well as using trans riling propaganda in efforts to silence this space.

I must say I find it incredibly heartbreaking to see other females trying so hard to silence a single, individual female voice working to undo or outright change the world in a way to pave a smoother road for future females. Females who wont have to feel they need to alter their exteriors in order to open up the world of possibilities to them as well as feel whole. Feminism and the feminist lens are needed now more than perhaps they ever were in our entire female history.

Fuck spreading the love and fuck spreading the hate, spread the seeds of feminism if what you dream of is a better future.

Trans Fantasy vs Trans Reality

Females suffering from anorexia have a distorted image of their bodies. Which is why when they look into a mirror, despite being at states of only skin and bone, they still manage to see themselves as "fat" or find areas of "fat" on their bodies, all of which leads them to continue to starve themselves.

Female transitioners suffer from a warped distorted body image, warped because like their "male identity", it lies in fantasy. Many females who develop the trans disorder, as the disorder is developing begin conjuring up a future image of the "man" the will be once they transition. The trans fantasy image is likely an amalgam of males they have envied both for their looks and their male privilege. In the full development of the trans disorder regardless of looks, build, size, height etc they hold fast to their belief that "T" and surgeries is going to make all their "man" fantasies come true.

But the reality is testosterone isnt a magic wand into manland, and "top surgery" will NEVER give you a male appearing chest. If you already have weight issues, your transition results will be much worse earlier on, but long term many trans~~men~~ wind up bald, over weight and unhealthy unless they consciously work against the natural effects "T" has on the female body. And even that only minimizes some of the negative "T" effects, it doesnt halt them altogether.

Like identity, trans fantasies also cannot be sold and bought.

There seems to be some serious lack in comprehending the complete difference between gay/lesbian identity and trans identity coming from many in the trans community. To clarify: When you require the male medical machine to establish your identity, there is NO legitimacy!

The male medical machine has a LONG continued history of harming gays and lesbians. The male medical machine has a LONG continued history of trying to remove/alter our homosexuality/lesbianism from us. It has tried confining us to mental asylums, it has tried using a multitude of different drugs on us, it has tried removing internal organs from us, it has tried raping us, it has tried burning us alive at the stake, it has tried torturing us, it has electrocuted ever fiber of our beings and used countless other barbarities, all to no avail. Our gay and lesbian identities remain!

The trans identity in ALL its manifestations is 1000% completely reliant on the male medical machine. Yes, the very same male medical machine that has worked so hard to destroy us, our identities, our lives, our loves! It is NEVER too late and you are NEVER too far into transition to find a way back to yourself AND find a way to love yourself. Due to the absolute hate and fear the trans community holds for anyone who even mentions "trans regret", the trans community has ZERO info/help in place for anyone identifying as trans or in transition seeking de-transition.

But have no fear, dirt is here!

One female transitioner was brave enough to share her story and even braver for working to get to know and love the person she truly is. You CAN de-transition at ANY state of transition and at any time. It IS possible to be whole again, despite any surgeries the male medical machine may have performed on you. It is also possible to find love, once you learn to love yourself. Loving yourself is the key to love and happiness.

     I want to write to you all as someone who understands what is going on inside the transgender community (or at least, the majority). Too bad there are not many resources on what I am about to share with you all, but before I do, I want to say that this IS a real message. I am considering going through de-transition from FtM to my biological female-self. This has been difficult to bring up this subject, so please bear with me. I won’t release too much of my story in fear of being found out.

     I was raised single-handedly by a strong woman. I never knew my father, and it took a toll on me. We weren’t rich either, so my mother and I had to live under my grandparents’ roof. I would roughhouse and watch WCW—The Undertaker was my favorite wrestler. The fighters were large and powerful; many were feared. My mother allowed me to wear boys’ clothing and the public thought I was a little boy. It made me feel good. After the first four years residing there, I attended school for the first time. I was mesmerized by the toys the teachers laid out for the children to play. Girls were playing dress-up, dolls, and other things little girls would use their imaginations. I had my eye on one of the girls. She had light brown skin and dark, almond shaped eyes. I thought she was very pretty, so I would do whatever it took to be around her. One of my cousins would tease me for liking her—it was so obvious. I felt ashamed because fairy tale princesses ended up with a prince, not another girl. So, knowing that I liked doing “guy things” and had crushes on girls, I automatically thought it meant I was really a dude. The boys on the other hand, were rough and tumble. G.I. Joes, walkie-talkies, and Superman action figures were what they enjoyed. I decided to do what they were doing; I faced rejection due to that decision.

     It continued this way all the way into my teen years. Short haircuts, baggy jeans, and anything else I could do to appear masculine. Around this time, I started hormones and other procedures to “match”. I was bullied constantly because of it. I knew it would happen, so why should I bitch about it. I sunk into a lower depression, especially because I still couldn’t have someone love me and had to lie in fear of not passing (and I didn’t despite all of what I went through). Surprisingly, I had one partner, but that didn’t work out (one of the reasons was because of who I was). The only friends I really hung out with did not know about my past (unless someone told them, which I would lie to tell them otherwise).

    I experienced problems during the “transition” as well. I knew there were side effects, but what kid thinks about the consequences? My skin was so dry, flakes would peel off despite the fact I was using lotion. Cramps worse than the ones you have during your cycle felt like someone was jabbing me with a knife. Pain relievers didn’t do squat. I was losing my hair in my early 20s already. Yes, I know there are males who lose hair around that age, but damn…Now? I was so dry “down south” that even masturbation sucked…That is if I did masturbate. My child-bearing hips did not alter from the HRT and when I would check my blood pressure, it was higher than what it was before. I had the picture perfect image of being good looking and buff like those wrestlers, but my crazy fantasy was slowly deteriorating my health.

      The FtMs I talked to were kinda annoying. All they talked about was transition and such. A couple of them were assholes—needlessly dissing lesbians. I’m not talking about lesbians that started shit; I’m talking about FtMs actually provoking the attack by using homophobia as a sword. You know what I noticed as well? A lot of the partners that were with them pre-hormones were not with them on the other side, if you get what I mean. A lot of them were single and had a hard time getting partners. I saw one guy say that “he” actually regretted transitioning and how “his” ex was hurting his feelings. He also had a hard time finding someone to be with or actually keep.

    Right now, I am trying to figure out what to do. I want to de-transition and already I am off hormones, but that demon is trying to keep me from doing that. I’ve done so much, but how can I go back? I am stuck between lesbians who don’t agree with transgender folk and vice versa. I am trying to find that woman in here somewhere, but it’s a struggle. I want to be with a woman, but are there women who are attracted to women without breasts? Would they want to make love to me and treat me as a human being instead of a confused freak? I don’t know. What I do know is that ever since I’ve gotten off hormones, I have felt less depressed. I am trying to find myself and trying so hard to tell myself, “It’s okay.” Is it really worth losing what you have health-wise, psychologically, and socially?   To the teens that want to transition, think about what you are sacrificing. No matter what you do to your body, you will always be a woman, and that is not a bad thing at all.

While I seriously disagree with the rag The Enquirer putting a on date on her demise, at least they are bringing up some of the health risks and potential health risks of females on high doses of testosterone, especially given the already large unhealthy stature Chaz had going into transition.

The rags response to Chaz is interesting...
"We have invited Mr. Bono and/or his medical experts to respond to the opinions of our medical experts in the next issue of the National Enquirer. The published opinions in the current edition are mostly focused on Mr. Bono's serious weight issues, which if not addressed, could substantially shorten his life," read a statement the Enquirer's parent company, American Media Inc., gave to E! News.
"The testosterone treatments that Mr. Bono has taken are drugs that medical experts agree contain inherent risks for heart disease and liver dysfunction. We only wish the best for Mr. Bono and hope that he embarks upon a health and diet program that includes proper nutrition and exercise for his own sake."

I dont see Chaz taking them up on it given even "trans experts" (cant even type that with a straight face) agree that heart and liver damage are real risks of long term high dosing testosterone in females, not to mention serious cancer risks as well. Sadly since there are no long term studies or long term follow ups of trans~~men~~ we do not know how many have had serious health issues or died from long term "T" use. (I suspect Leslie Feinberg's ailing health in direct proportion to her long term taking of "T")

Perhaps despite The Enquirer being a sleazy celeb rag, maybe its popularity will help bring some of the scary truths of "transition" out into the open with the general public.

The Gender Straight Jacket Skirts Female Boxers

Female boxing has finally found its way into the next Olympics providing that female boxers wear SKIRTS in the ring! The reason for the skirt wearing is because there clearly needs to be a way to distinguish between male and female boxers! NO, I DID NOT JUST MAKE THAT UP! I'm reminded of the early 80's when female body building became (somewhat) popular. The women had to wear hyper feminine swim suits, mega high heels and full faces of make up (and breast implants for the women whose pecs were larger than their breast)! Unlike male body builders who were judged on their muscles and symmetry alone, the women were judged on their muscles, symmetry AND how they well they could apply current "feminine" standards to their appearance, i.e. perform for the male masturbatory gaze!

The gender straight jacket has a LONG history of negatively affecting women's sports. Because athleticism is still deemed a "masculine" endeavor, female athletes have and continue having to concentrate on training and performing their sport, PLUS maintaining and performing a "feminine" appearance (feminine as defined by the gender straight jacket) for the male gaze. Otherwise they are accused of being "manly" or "dykes", neither of which is complimentary under hetero-patriarchy, and both of which has got female athletes denied and/or removed from the athletic arena.

Is it any wonder that female sports remain far behind men's sports and female athletes make millions of dollars less than male athletes. How are women suppose to advance their presence in sports when they still have to stress and worry about maintaining "female" societal decorums rather than working on their performances? No wonder their are no pro female football teams, would be too stressful for coaches having to worry about their team showing their slips during an unsightly tackle.

The Childhood Humility of Feeling "Other"

Having been a horrifically shy kid, the social aspects of school were difficult in and of themselves. But not seeing myself in the girls I knew, the girls I saw or the idea of girl that was presented by hetero-patriarchal norms, boys were the only place I did see myself, only I knew I wasnt a boy.

So much of school groups and competitions were a constant dividing up or boys and girls or boys vs girls. Even going to the bathroom in grade school was a division of the sexes. I HATED bathroom time. Because it meant having to stand in the girls line where upon I felt nothing but pure and utter shame. In that line it was obvious what I was, unlike in the "rough area" where I was just another boy or on the football team or dodgeball team etc. Even in gym class when for three years in a row for 6 weeks we had to square dance, because there were a shortage of boys, I was the substitute boy.

But in class, I rarely escaped the division of boys/girls by teachers and I always felt ashamed in not doing so. What were some of your experiences where you felt ashamed simply for being female??

Feminism seems so tiny today, so niche, of such little interest to the outside world. And yet it is needed...

A little from the article...

November will see the premiere of Pan Am on BBC2. It is a soft-focus drama series, bought from America, about the adventures of a group of Pan Am stewardesses in the 1960s. It is all big hair and pouting, with a preposterous photogenic-stewardess-as-CIA-operative subplot, to distract the viewer from the fact that Pan Am is all about big hair and pouting, a reductive and submissive fantasy, with working women as eye candy and, explicitly in the first episode, as sex aid. Even so, they are represented as empowered, because they are beautiful, and get on and off aeroplanes.

I mention this as last week, at the Fawcett Society's annual AGM, I pondered why the feminist movement seems so comprehensively to have stalled. Feminism seems so tiny today, so niche, of such little interest to the outside world and even to women. And yet it is needed; the facts are bewildering or depressing, depending on one's mental state. In the UK, the pay gap of 15.5% will not shift. When the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) polled 34,158 male and female executives in the private sector last year, they learned the average pay gap between men and women doing the same job is £10,031, and the average woman will, as such, be cheated out of £330,000 in her lifetime, which is a lot for a feminist, and also for a consumer.

The glass ceiling is still bulletproof; men outnumber women in parliament by four to one, and there are more millionaires than women in the cabinet (and it shows). Women who do make it into politics are mocked and debased; alongside Cameron's Cuties and Blair's Babes, we now have Millie's Fillies, a fine headline for the fact that there are now 13 women in the shadow cabinet, to Ed Miliband's credit. The cuts, as this newspaper has detailed, will affect women, who are the nation's carers, and who tend to work in the public sector, far more than men. Because childcare responsibilities still fall on women, women with children take low-paid, opportunity-free part-time work, and suffer economically and, presumably, spiritually.

Instead, the media acts as a marketing tentacle for the beauty and fashion industries – no friend to women, merely selling the lie that purchase is a feminist act, because, in the words of the L'Oreal slogan, "We're worth it". Yes we are, and that is why I do not dye my hair. In fact, shopping is the only feminist act still possible in the media world because they think consumerism is feminism; buy, and feel good about yourself, even as you get into debt for your trouble, and forget that actually you looked OK in your old clothes, with your old hair, and with your old vagina. It also, due to its emphasis on shopping, mistakes what a feminist is. Two current TV heroes, Mary Portas and Kirsty Allsop, could be interpreted as feminists, because they have both their own TV shows. In fact, they are not feminists, but saleswomen, as committed to female dissatisfaction – buy a house, buy a dress, buy anything – as anyone in sales.

Celebrity is no friend to feminism either, even if Angelina Jolie once made a statement that could be reasonably divined as feminist. (I have no idea if she did make such a statement. But it is possible.) Because she had to starve, sweat and be surgically enhanced to be in a position to make it and be heard. How Body/Gender Dysphoria is "Treated"? And Why?

Since the American Psychiatric Association published its first edition of the DSM in 1952 and through all four editions, including the fifth edition due out in May of 2013, not a single MENTAL disorder has been treated by removing healthy BODY parts EXCEPT body/gender dysphoric disorder. One might say lobotomies and/or similar "surgeries" have been performed since, but lobotomies were performed on brains found to be UNhealthy(rightly or wrongly so). There has been no such findings in the breasts/uteri/ovaries/penis's/testes that are standard removals for those suffering with body/gender issues.

That being stated, why do you feel the male medical machines is only removing/rearranging healthy body parts from individuals classified as suffering from a MENTAL disorder to relieve their suffering/dysphoria? Especially given that there isnt a single proven case that the removal of certain healthy body parts doesnt cure the patient of their dysphoria, as it returns again and again and again short to mid term?

Also why do you feel the male medical machine is targeting very specific body parts, when clearly every body part of the patient is either male or female?

I know for a FACT that two of the three names mentioned are NOT "rad fems", one of them obviously being me! I have not clue what "WWBT" is and as a Butch lesbian I have never worn "pearls". And one merely has to skim my blog to know it is completely FEMALECENTRIC. I do not write about men and other than on a rare occasion, male comments are not welcome and deleted.

It has become blatently apparent, with each and every WIT post, that our female youths are being indoctrinated by YT's Trans Trenders at younger and younger ages. When he was 6, his parents sought professional advice. A local psychiatrist diagnosed Ryan with gender identity disorder (GID) or transgenderism, a rare condition in which a biological male or female feels a strong identification with the opposite sex and is extremely uncomfortable with his or her own gender. Like Ryan, many transgender youth express disgust with their genitals from a young age, and some even believe they’ll grow up to become the opposite sex.

Ryan is now 12 and goes by the name Sylvia. In skinny jeans and metallic ballet flats, painted nails and pigtails, she comes off as an energetic tween girl...In a world where everything is divvied up according to gender, there’s little room for a kid who falls somewhere in the middle.

She grew her hair long and asked to wear dresses and skirts.

In fifth grade, after the long summer, Ryan came back to school as Sylvia. Although she was nervous on her first day with her new name, Sylvia found the majority of her classmates warm and welcoming. “Some of my friends asked me why I had waited so long,” she says. That year, Sylvia excelled academically and was voted class vice-president. At the same time, she was being seen by Norman Spack, MD, an endocrinologist at Children’s Hospital Boston and a leading expert in GID in children and adolescents, and evaluating psychologist Laura Edwards-Leeper, PhD. Spack, along with urologist David Diamond, MD, had helped launch the interdisciplinary Gender Management Service (GeMS) Clinic at Children’s—the first pediatric academic program in the Western Hemisphere to evaluate and medically treat young transgender people.

Sylvia’s parents immersed themselves in transgender research before coming to Children’s.

But what if you could halt puberty and stop the permanent changes from occurring? While it remains controversial, puberty suppression has been the standard treatment for transgender kids in the Netherlands since the 1990s. Since 2007, Children’s has been one of a handful of hospitals in North America to offer this treatment.

So far, the GeMS clinic has treated 17 patients with pubertal suppressors. “For the appropriate patients, we’ve found that the use of this therapy not only prevents severe psychological distress, but allows these young adolescents a chance to begin to blossom into their true selves,” says Edwards-Leeper. Spack scoffs at critics who accuse the clinic of fooling with nature. “I don’t think of transgender people as ‘changing genders,’” he says. “Almost every one of our patients felt that they were born with the wrong body. They’re not changing genders, they are affirming the gender they always felt they had.”

As frightening as it is that some gender conformist doKtor slapped a GID diagnoses on a child simply for enjoying a variety of things labeled by patriarchy as "girl". I find it much more frightening that clinics designed solely for THIS specific purpose are cropping up even before the latest edition of the disorder bible (the DSM 5) which will contain the new diagnoses for children who do not sport the gender straight jacket!

If clinics such as the one mentioned in the article have cropped up and are cropping up even before there has been a legitimate (legitimate as far as published in the latest version of the shrink bible) medical diagnoses for GID in children, the writing is all over the fucking wall! But as I see it, the writing has been all over the fucking wall since the HB's first created the trans disorder as a means to heterosexualize homosexuals as a way of eradicating homosexuality.

But we have come a LONG way baby! Now there is no need to wait till those pesky queens and bulldaggers prance and swagger into adulthood offending all those bound by the gender straight jacket. No siree bob! The male medical machine can declare those girls who want short hair and play with BOY toys GENDER INCONGRUENT! Same goes for those sissy boys who wanna grow their hair out, play with the girls and want to be called pretty! The male medical machine has even stated that most children labeled with GID/GI if left alone will grow up to be normal healthy gay and lesbian adults. So why is the male medical machine labeling children with a medical/mental disorder when they do not conform to society's/parental notions of normal gender play/roles???

I'll tell you why! Because transition was born out of extreme homophobia and has been allowed to proliferate because of it, despite any claims to the contrary. If gays and lesbians do not begin taking some very serious steps towards the labeling children with GID/GI, a huge portion of our community will be missing in the near future because we will have been eradicated in our youth by exterminating us through medical transition.

And to all the naysayers who will bitch and moan that "dirt is just being extreme" and "that can never happen", remember that once upon a time, once technology permitted, humans were systematically eradicated despite all those who claimed "that can never happen here". It wasnt that many decades ago when lesbian feminists were concerned about transitioning children, they were pacified that that no doktor would do that to a child.

Given the phallocentric world girls grow up in, it isnt at all surprising many of us from our earliest memories hoped and dreamed we would awake with a penis. Even in our early years, we recognize the world is fully available to those with penis's that it isnt to those without. Even the "without" seems an accusation of less than or missing something important. But penis privileges aside, not having one doesnt really signify dysphoria. Similarly to wanting something the wealthy posses that you dont and never will, it doesnt create a pathological uncomfortableness (sometime suicidalness) that dysphoria does.

So describe when and how dysphoria came into your life. Was it slowly or swiftly? Did something trigger it or was it accumulative?

We the non-celebrities are making ourselves more available, in vaster quantities. But in doing so, we are losing control over the information we considered to be ours alone. We have the convenience of online bill-paying. But credit cards companies know facts about us we never remember telling them. We have the ease of online shopping. Now online shops advertise to us long after we visited their site, wherever we happen to be on the Internet. We want to stay in touch with people we would have, in another age, left behind — people we met on holiday or on the street, people we knew only as children. So we post mundane, daily facts about our workday or our meals — information that used to disappear before it was even registered as experience — hoping that it might bring this giant network of people closer to our mundane, daily lives. But the mundane information starts to define us; we can’t get rid of it.

The Urban Dictionary includes a term called “Public Privacy.” Public privacy is defined as:

The illusion of which is given to people on a cell phone or blue tooth in public and within earshot of others. These people believe that others cannot hear about their husband's rectal exam or their mothers attempt at making toast in the microwave.

When we go home at night, we are still in the crowd. We hop on our computers, consume information. We might go onto Facebook and talk to hundreds of friends at once, retool our image: What do I want to tell people that I like today? How do I want to look today? How can I expand the breadth of my crowd? The more people I am friends with, the more people I can see. Like Baudelaire, we are watching, observing, hoping to find ourselves in the multitude. We think maybe it’s crazy, that having more acquaintances, perpetually developing our personae, and sharing every moment of our lives in the panoptic milieu of the Internet will somehow bring our private lives into focus.

Baudelaire wrote about the romance of throwing oneself alone, directionless, into the crush of public life. And it is exhilarating — spending your days wandering from shop to shop, fact to fact, video to video, stranger to stranger. But his poetry was a reminder. The passion for roaming means a love of masquerades and a hatred of home. Baudelaire, too, wanted to protect his privacy. But he feared he had lost the very thing he wanted to protect.

A fitting article for all those trans trenders and the like, who protest to their YT's being linked, their pictures being utilized, their words being discussed. Gender doesnt equal Sex unless you are Trans and Say it Does

Australia is now one of a growing number of countries to relax the rules on surgical requirements to determine gender.

According to the trans mouthpiece, gender is whats between your ears and sex is whats between your legs and since so many trans~~men~~ hack off their breast, sex too seems to be whats between your arms. Yet more and more trans groups are working to alter laws to have sex markers changed simply because they claim their gender is different. The sex of those in any state of transition NEVER changes and NEVER will. So claiming their "gender" is opposite their sex, still should in no way affect sex markers on any legal level.

That aside, we are getting into VERY disturbing AND dangerous territory when countries and states of countries are changing sex (body) marker indicators when the issue is with gender (mental construct). By allowing gender (mental delusion) to replace sex (core reality) would legally give males (rapists/pedophiles) complete access to any private female space simply by legally changing their gender (mental) which will legally change their sex marker to female! As if girls and adult females dont already have enough to worry about in our pro-rapist culture.

If as the trans community claims, transition is about feeling better in your own skin, then there really is no need to change sex markers, especially given the excessive fluidity extolling the queer/trans community is notorious for. For instance in the case of trans~~men~~, who go on and on about how much they love women, even love the female form, claim they just want their female form to look "male". Okay, so cosmetically alter your female form to appear male, then why the need for the name changes, the pronoun changes, the legal sex change???

What it all boils down to is the trans mind needing every possible external SEX indicator to match their created mental identity (created for a slew of reasons) for their created identity's very survival. Laws that affect every male and female are being altered strictly to support the self created identity of a small group of mentally ill people. And the thing is, as you read here in the multitudinous comments by trans mind after trans mind, even when all the external signs point to one sex, the trans mind still isnt happy. The internal war between their core identity and their self created identity doesnt end with an F or an M on their legal ID's, it doesnt end until they end the trans charade.

Fear-The New State of Feminism

I recently received this message from a young feminist:

My name is XXXX and I'm a 26 year old woman currently working for a feminist organization serving rural women and girls in XXXXXX. I have always identified as a girl/woman but only in recent years have really come to appreciate the awesomeness of what that means. I love my body and would never want to part with any aspect of it. I have enjoyed wonderful sexual and romantic experiences with men and women, and have expressed my gender in various ways from feminine to androgynous. What bothers me these days is that I have observed several young women in my community transitioning and embracing male-centric identities. The movement is very strong here to educate the public about trans people and their experiences, and as someone working in the field of social justice/feminism I feel obligated to support trans people as an equity-seeking group. Deep down, however, I'm very concerned about the shrinking of the category "woman" and the violent influence of misogyny on all of us, particularly the pressure on women to alter and in some cases mutilate our bodies. I've seen people on the internet attaching the "hate" label to your posts and videos, but what nobody (except you) seems to be talking about is the internalized hatred that every female faces in this deeply misogynistic world, and how this is linked to transitioning. Yet, were I to publicly agree with you I would a) be disowned by my FTM friends/acquaintances and b) be shunned by others working in my field. I have only spoken with one other feminist who expressed a view similar to yours, and she is a long-time activist who I admire and respect. There is just so much silencing of dissent around this issue that I'm afraid to speak my mind. Thank you for having the courage to articulate your perspective. I suspect that there are many feminists who, like me, feel silenced but glad that someone is raising these questions.

More and more feminist are expressing similar sentiments to the feminist's predicament above. The trans community takes the mass feminist silence as trans approval, but nothing could be further from the truth. Feminists are women, and women from our earliest teachings are taught to either be "polite" or "say nothing at all". Since postmodernism's conservative backlash against feminism first spewed Queer Theory from its muck funnel, there has been a rising tide of pressure for women/feminist to accept anything no matter how inane, from their fluid PC driven politic.

The greatest failure of feminism is silence in the face of violence against women. And make no bones about it, transition IS violence against women on a multitude of levels! Whether it is being silent about men co-opting "woman", allowing these men in female spaces or watching with cringed expressions and tight lips while women and girls are being brainwashed with acute misogyny then violated by the male medical machine perpetuating that misogyny for a fucking buck!

Silence IS the enemy! Silence permits violence against girls and women because when there is no one saying NO, it is presumed that everyone is thinking yes.

Sexton was very much a victim of the male medical machine and her choice to commit suicide when stripped of the veneer of freedom was no choice at all. I Remembering Always Feeling Like a Boy

Feeling like a boy from their earliest memories is something we hear quite often from trans~~men~~. I have felt happy, sad, angry, elated, in love, depressed, thrilled, scared etc etc, I cant say I have ever felt female. I can say I have felt female experiences, biologically speaking, but outside of that, my feelings are emotional, and emotions are not sex based.

That being said, and thats only my experience, for those who have always "felt like a boy/guy", explain exactly what that means. How do you feel like a particular sex? And before anyone says they as a female feel "masculine", explain how you feel like secondary sexual characteristics.

YouTube's Trans Trending Influence

A prime example of just how YT's are influencing the Trans Trend among girls and young women:

This is likely a blueprint for many a Trans Trender's YT's Transitioning-as-fun-and-easy- as-123. The poster not only flat out admits to the Trans Trending videos influencing her desire to transition, she also sees Trans Trending videos as a potential vehicle to some kind of warped internet fame. I suspect the latter is as big a reason many Trans Trenders seek transition as their fears and desires to escape the ever tightening female noose.

It is sad as the poster states, that she views these videos as "helping" rather than harming, which they actually are. She, like so many young (younger all the time) women before her and as we see here weekly, completely buy into the trans spin most of these videos present. They present the thrill of passing, the thrill of passing privileges, the thrill of using the mens room, the thrill of the steroidal effects on their muscles, the thrill of excessive body hair and odor etc etc. There is a fun, happy enthusiasm spilling from these early stage transition videos, jetting out of the trans high from each T injection.

She speaks of a "future" for her potential videos, but this is what we see little of on YT. Many female transitioners after a few years, once the trans high has warn off, their female transformation lulled, remove their videos. There is no new body hair to cheer about, the masculine hairline soon becomes male pattern baldness, the increase in muscle leads to an increase in appetite which later turns into a pot belly for many and "love handles" for nearly all, any weight gain pools to whats left of their mutilated breasts and shirtlessness once again becomes shameful and impossible. These videos we do not see, because they do no "inspire" transition, they would instead give many Trans Trenders pause.

I remember some years back being clued in to an episode on Doctor 90210 that had a teenage girl with her mother's permission and seeming insistence getting her vagina "reshaped". I thought surely this must be some sick Hollywood perfect plastic pressure, but when I did some research I found this teenage girl was far from the exception and in fact as this article makes clear, she was in fact fast becoming the rule.

Yet, when I visited a private hospital in an affluent Sydney suburb recently, nurses there told me the real story was not breast enlargements but surgery being undertaken by young women to reshape their outer genitals. It is the fad of the "designer vagina".

They were privately horrified at the insecurity that drives women to have perfectly healthy genitalia cut and stitched into a shape that conforms to an unrealistic image presented in airbrushed pornography. They told of women as young as 19 who claimed they needed surgery to look good in tight bike pants.

One young woman came in with her boyfriend who told her he didn't like "brown bits" where he thought "pink bits" should be. But the women and their boyfriends - and even some of their doctors - don't know what "normal" genitals are supposed to look like. All they know is the porn fantasy.

But labioplasty surgery to slice off the outer genitals - or "resculpting", as plastic surgeons prefer to call it - is a booming business, increasing by 500 per cent between 2002 and 2009, Weaver says.

Medicare payments for the procedures have more than doubled in the past decade to about 1200, costing the taxpayer at least $4000 a pop.

The average age of British women undergoing the procedures was 25. Almost three quarters wanted surgery because of "embarrassment" about genital appearance, mentioning "disparaging comments by previous sexual partners", "harassment by other girls at school" or "concerns being flagged by the girls' mothers".

Both websites linked above have before and after pics, what I find most (sick) and interesting is many of after pics resemble instead of natural appearing vaginas, they instead look similar to the mutilative gash between the legs of male transitioners. I suspect the male medical machine performing these mutilations and the male transitioners receiving them are both basing their notions of a vagina on the pornographically male fantasy vagina, which is about as real as the bleached assholes these same women in porn possess.

This years Atlanta Dyke March has fallen prey to the Trans pressures of "inclusiveness", meaning any man claiming to be a "dyke" or any trans~~man~~ still claiming "dyke" may freely be included to participate in the Dyke March. Per the Atlanta Pride website regarding the Dyke March:

Other than in name only, nothing in the description has anything to do with actual lesbians, NOTHING! "All women", is not LESBIAN women and straight men parading as "women" is about as fucking far from lesbian as you can fucking get! And to add even more insult to lesbian erasure:

As a Butch, my sex (based on the sexing of clothing selection/play/athleticism) has either been questioned or assumed male since I was three years old. Many Butches and females who repudiate constructed femininity/hyper femininity growing up and through out our lives, pass.

There are many unspoken detrimental affects of passing. Some may question how can passing as male much of the time be detrimental when one would receive some male privileges in doing so, but those privileges come at a great price. How has passing harmed you or someone you love?

The Tide it is a Changin

Since this blog first began developing a readership, comments aside for the moment, based on the number of (agree) and (disagree)'s the readership was clearly against the content posted here. Taking comments into account, it was clear that while the majority of (disagrees) were from those in the perpetual state of transition, hardly all of them were. There were a great many (disagrees) coming from lesbians who embraced the whole IDEA of a unified "community".

Somewhere between the realization that the trans readers didnt stand a chance in hell of closing this space down and lesbian readership actually reading (instead of reacting) to what's posted here, as well as a more developed lesbian readership, a clear shift has occurred. There is regularly an overwhelming amount of (agrees) with this post as opposed to (disagrees)! This shift has also become more apparent in the comments we are seeing lately.

Change can be the ugly surgically mutilated and chemically treated mess of a once beautiful female mind and body. Change can also be the beauty of insight, the strength of declaration and the power to see both through.

A friend received this screen cap in her email and forwarded it to me:

In this mass email sent by the Transgender Law Center , they conveniently use both Carson Kressley ( a gay celeb) and the repeal of Dont Ask/Dont Tell to bind together gay/lesbian/issues, in order to promote female self hater and long time wannabe celeb "Chaz" Bono (now in the never ending cycle of transition) to legitimate transition to the general public.

You weekly see here how YouTube alone is negatively affecting our female youths (trans trenders) who have no visible role models amid the conservative backlash against feminism by the advancement of hyper femininity/sexuality. Teens and young women have literally been left with what appears to be two options, the notion of transitioning to "male" or adapt to the masturbatory IDEA of woman, both of which in reality are unattainable. But celeb wannabe "Chaz" publicly parading herself weekly on Dancing with the Stars will send a sad sick message of trans possibility to all those girls and young women suffering, questioning and pondering where and how the hell they can ever fit into conservative hyper feminine role that is everywhere we look.

The Trans Law Center is also claiming that "Chaz" is receiving "hate mail" for her appearance on DWTS. While I do not doubt that she likely has, nowhere have we seen the Trans Law Center EVER announcing to the Trans community to refrain from making similar threats of violence and death to anyone (including myself) who dares to shed some sun on the reality known as "transition".

You can also see in the screen cap, this Trans Law Center also begrudges the progress of the repeal of DADT with regards to gays and lesbians, because the trans community has made no such progress. While that is certainly unfortunate, I have written about this particular issue as far back as a decade ago. And in that decade there has yet to be a single political movement by the trans community to serve in the military, while gays and lesbians have publicly fought and died for that right since the second World War.

The Trans Law Center goes on to whine that in 35 states they have no job protections based on "gender identity". The fact is, once in the constant transitional state, with their legal sex changed, they have MORE rights than many out gays or lesbians. If they are legally male or legally female they have the very same rights as any man or woman. Once trans~~men~~ begin "passing" as male, they immediately receive male privilege both in and out of jobs, and for trans~~women~~ who do not "pass" (which is most) they continue receiving the male privilege they were accustomed to from birth.

Using gays and lesbians and our issues we have fought and died for for more years than I have been alive by the Trans community is sick and pathetic. It also signifies in yet another instance just how little this community has in common with gays and lesbians and how even more meager they are invested in our progress.

But most importantly unnecessary medical "treatment" should NEVER be a choice making up for a lack of necessary social change. And utilizing the daughter of a celeb to do so is not only fucking sad, it is fucking abhorrent.

Gender Specialists/Therapists Pressuring Women to Stay with Transmen

A woman recently emailed me regarding her concerns, and displeasure at her partner transitioning. After exchanging a few emails she told me this when she expressed those same worries to her partners therapist:

The therapist is now trying to get her to see another therapist at the same clinic to HELP her adjust to her new man's fractured mind and body. She smartly saw through the bullshit and has declined therapy at this "pro-trans" clinic. Thank god for her!

I'm glad this woman chose to come out about this, its very brave of her. We're hearing more and more stories like this, "gender specialist" and "therapists" trying to "counsel" lesbians into staying with a female partner who has transitioned. It signifies the still very much alive notion even in psychiatry, that lesbianism isnt legitimate and that all we need is the "right man" to straighten us out, even if said man is really a female. It is obviously, among many shrinks, just as important to maintain compulsory heterosexuality as it is strict gender norms!

One of the worst cases I know of was a woman who stayed with her g/f after "T" and after the g/f had her breast mutilated from her and had her vagina sewn shut (can we say someone was daddy's little fuck toy?). After all was said and done, the woman found sex repulsive (naturally) with her man. She went to a therapist familiar with transition, and his advice to her was for her to "have sex with HIM whenever HE wants it"! The shrink said she will "learn to like it"! Needless to say, she didnt.

It is one sick fucking thing that these ignorant gender conforming therapists are transitioning young women and now even young girls, but it is getting much worse when these "gender specialists" are trying to convince lesbians that we in fact really DO want to be with a man!

Lesbians desire women, body and soul, period! Not men and certainly not other women who have drugged and hacked apart the beauty of the woman they could not see and respect.
