I received this comment on an old post regarding how lesbian partners deal when a lover transitions:
There are literally tens of thousands or programs and support systems ushering lesbians toward and to transition, I dont know of any for the partners, friends or family left behind. I also, like the lesbian above, have yet to a single lesbian relationship survive transition.
If anyone has any information about support groups for the lesbian partners of lesbians who transition, please let us know. I'll work on starting Twitter and FaceBook groups this weekend.

Lesbian Blogger working with my wife to excavate Lesbian from the depths of centuries of Hetsplaining. We cannot know ourselves, till we cease knowing them.
She forgot balding, pimply, & self absorbed, but yeah lesbian partners are just told they are with "men" so they got to forget that they are lesbians & be a good woman by standing by her "man's choices" while pretending to enjoy the fake penises & poisons now added to the women they love who's sanity vocie, temper, attitude, and even female loving sexuality will change as well. I say this is support do the best to stop the woman from this or do yourself the favor and leave her for your own best interest. The anti-female anti-homo agenda will break your heart if your gf is willing to harm yourself and your relationship to it.
ReplyDeleteAs a lesbian, I really don't about the penis. Do you think penis can satisfy every woman? That's so ridiculous thinking.
DeleteCan your penis get harder when any man do hand job or blow job with your penis?
Women are more complex than men. We can only enjoying sex with someone we do really care or love. Without that feelings, it's more likely as rape, forced sex, humiliation, getting molested or abused... not making love!
I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND THAT.
Thank you.

I'd also like to hear from lesbians who broke off the relationship when their partner decided to transition to 'male.' I'd like to know what guilt trips their partner tried, to keep them staying.
ReplyDeleteImportant - What about sites showing how masculine or butch identified lesbians can present themselves without transitioning with harmful T and hormones?
ReplyDeleteLesbians arent masculine unless taking male hormones. And Butch isnt an ID, they're born and also born very few.

How is being butch something you're "born", but being trans - as you've said multiple times on this blog - is not; it's a "self-identification" (and, apparently, a wrong one at that)? I don't understand how sexuality, according to you, is inherent, something you're born with, but gender is a choice?
ReplyDeleteHaven't the LGBTQI community been fighting against the old, tired "your lifestyle is a choice/you choose to be gay/etc." comments for too long already? And yet there are still people like yourself perpetuating those stereotypes and making life easier for those who would want to strip the queer community of what few rights we have.
I don't get it.
Butches in utero or out werent injected with male hormones or didnt require mutilative surgeries to exist.
DeleteYou not understanding basic biology/sexology isnt an issue for this blog. You also contradicting yourself isnt a subject for this blog.
In a nutshell, I dont know what you're asking.

"Haven't the LGBTQI community ..."
ReplyDeleteI don't give a rat's a## about your bullshit alphabet soup.
I'm a lesbian. I'm not part of the TQI, or G for that matter. Sometimes I align with gay men politically, but I have nothing in common whatsoever with the T or Q. As for the I, it's a shame how transgender activists have co-opted intersex people.
@Charlie,
"I don't understand how sexuality, according to you, is inherent, something you're born with, but gender is a choice?"
Unlike one's sex, gender is nothing but a culturally defined choice. The human species is sexually dimorphic and all primates reproduce sexually. No primate can change its sex. Same sex sexual behavior has been observed in primates and mammals. What primates can't do is change their sex.
+1 I'm beyond sick of it being taking for granted that we're all on board with the increasingly asinine lgbtqqrixwtxz "community". As for "queer", well, maybe it had power as a 'reclaimed' word back in the 90s - bearing in mindof course that for many people, it will always be a hateful slur - but nowadays it just brings to mind a tedious individual with a bad manic panic dye job hanging around tumblr, reddit, etc. Calling herself "non-binary" and "pansexual" yet somehow always ends up sleeping with and prioritizing males....
DeleteIt's come to the point where I'm almost as isgusted and offended by the term in its modern, "radikewl" context as I am by the original slur.
