The TRUTH about Testosterone Transmen and Transition-its ALL in the Fine Print

The TRUTH about cross sex hormones used for the purpose of transition are trivial; trivial tick boxes, trivial annotations, trivial fine print, trivially surrounded within medical documents and consent forms by trivialities, making all seem trivial to patients. Patients too desperate, too naive or too young to care or comprehend. Cross sex hormones used in transition are even trivialized by the medical community TO members of the medical community, again and again and again.

Continued medical education courses ALL mental and medical practitioners are REQUIRED to take in order to keep the licensure have and continue to trivialize the FDA's NON-approval of the cross sex hormones used for transition. The OFF LABEL use of these drugs are blurred, buried or bottom paged in medical courses, medical documents and consent forms issued by even the Center of Excellence for Transgender Health!

A 77 page document for the purpose of educating medical providers/staff of cross sex hormone use for transgender patients states only TWICE that using cross sex hormones is NOT APPROVED OF BY THE FDA:

Once:
Twice:
The national College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists  meeting held a few months ago on Gender Dysphoria...
...discloses trivially the FDA's NON approval of cross sex hormone use in an unobtrusive drop down:
 Under the drop down:
Buried within the consent form (page 5) the Center of Excellence for Transgender Health urges medical professionals to use for pre trans females:

Bottom line, the FDA has not/will NOT approve cross sex hormones for the purpose of transition. Medical and transgender healthcare educators/providers are trivializing the importance of this information to transgender patients, potential patients and the parents/guardians of patients/potential patients, while disclaiming trivially in order to cover THEIR asses from being sued when patients suffer cross sex hormone related illnesses or worse, death.

  1. Transgender organizations aren't just trivilizing the dangers, they are actively pushing "transitioning" to naive and vulnerable people, and the age in which they push the "transitioning" (GnRH agonists, cross gender hormones, surgery, etc.) just keeps getting younger and younger.

As to doctors, they are primarily concerned with covering their asses and are worried about lawsuits when something goes wrong. Doctors can't completely cover their asses on this because there are a lot of smart lawyers who just love to sue. When this crazy trans train crashes, people are going to look around for someone to blame, and they could be liable.

(1.) It's clear that children and disabled women with Down Syndrome lack the ability to make informed consent. It's not like doctors don't know that they are potentially sterilizing children, and they really don't know the long term effects of these powerful drugs (GnRH agonists and/or cross gender hormones).

(2.) As to adults, how many people actually take the time to research all of this? Doctors spend about five minutes actually talking to people.

(3.) In light of the APA's (American Psychological Association) torture scandal in which it was shown that they collaberated with the Bush Administration on its "enhanced interrogations", what psychologists do means diddle squat to me. They milk the special "gender dysphoric" label for all its worth. Do people really believe that 3 and 4 year old kids are "gender dysphoric"? It's just the latest cash cow for the shrinks.

  2. I'm sure medical ethics boards don't need someone to tell them that sterilizing children and drugging and mutilating disabled women are human rights abuses.

  5. Interesting read. To this day I'm still really shocked and saddened that this light isn't made into more common knowledge for those who seek it.
Especially with how 'hard' it supposedly is with the ~dreaded waiting list~ for transsexuals(obligatory asterisk) to get their hormones.

I've unfortunately had to get light hormone gels of both flavors since I was only about 14 because I was born without a properly functioning endocrine system. I wouldn't dream of injecting with long-term and uncontrollable hormones. I've also never heard of any waiting list, but perhaps it is different when you don't need it for obvious medical reasons.
Even then the physicians repeatedly warned us about all the possible side-effects, but ultimately decided that one couldn't live a healthy and full life with an overly inadequate amount of either sex hormone. I've yet to hear about a transgender-oriented 'doctor' that properly warns about the negative side of these methods, when their patients do not even need it medically. I've actually heard some pretty disturbing things about them pushing such methods, even on children! (Including a certain hack you've previously talked about on here.. Begins with a J & ends in an o.)

If I were blessed enough to have everything in proper order by birth, like many transsexuals were, you could bet I would not be touching the stuff. Much like synthroid, it is intended as replacement for something that isn't already properly there.
I won't pretend to understand the mental state of all transgenders, but people are way too hasty to do dangerous things to their gifts (bodies)! :-(

They need to up the difficulty for those seeking hormones for psychiatric reasons and make it available only primarily to those who've tested through blood panels as really needing replacement.

    Ah.. but I digress..

  6. Given how trendy it has become to simply claim one is, by saying so, the other "gender" (misnamed sex), will all this "medical" transitioning lose favour?
Is there not a risk in us complaining about these medical risks, are we not pushing this trend of "self-identification"? Many states and provinces and countries now accept the "other gender" identification WITHOUT any medical/psychiatric participation...

  7. Doctors and therapists don't care about health, they only care about their own income. Follow the money.
