Transwomen Want a Period Pill in Pursuit of Trans High

This was screen capped from a popular trans male news group, made up predominantly by older female fetishizers, many of which are Trans Politic members.

There was a discussion going on, on how and why doctors cannot create a pill to cause bleeding from the CLOSED gap or hole of post bottom surgery trans males. Given that millions will die this year of cancer or heart disease, it is alarming that scientists arent focusing solely on a period pill for men!

Sarcasm aside, one doesnt have to be a medical professional to see the disturbed pathology going on here. But this pathology isnt uncommon among post surgery trans males, in fact it is a direct result of it. It is another variation on chasing the trans high. Once visible changes begin to cease or cease altogether, the trans person must find new ways to get that trans high back. No matter how bizarre, insane, creepy or sexually deviant. And unlike trans females who are just looking for that next trans high, for trans males, there is ALWAYS some sort of sexual component to the trans high. That same sexual high they derived when they sniffed their mother's or sister's panties for the first time, or went that extra step and wore them.

What should be most noted is, it is precisely these trans males who are fighting legally to get themselves allowed into private women's public area's, such as shower rooms, locker rooms, bathrooms etc. And in some cases actually winning that legal right. The twisted pathology of female fetishizers arent being told to the public, the twisted pathology has been overwritten with the "born in the wrong body" script doctors use to justify transitioning healthy bodied people regardless of unhealthy minds.

And as Plath said so aptly "the vase reconstructed/houses the elusive rose"!!!

As for your post, it's scary how much the medical industry keeps catering towards the trans crowd. I'm thinking a lot of this has to do with the fact that medical care is done for a profit, and these pharmaceutical companies know they'll make a hell of a lot of money selling useless drugs to trans. Take a look at who's transitioning: middle-class people who can afford all the hormones, drugs, and surgeries. I take it there's no way the medical establishment would be doing any of this if it wasn't to their advantage.

It is time for women to stop being civil and nice with these men. We saw where civil and nice got Native Americans with the ancestors of these same men. These men have been raised for generations on end to conquer and colonize, not to compromise or cooperate.

  5. Wait..... what??? They want a pill that will cause them to menstruate? Don't they know ANYTHING about biology, like the fact that without a uterus there can be no flow?

The whole trans cult (especially the male side) is chock full of wackos who seem to have flunked biology 101 and expect everyone else to be as clueless as they are. Just look at this dumbass, who claims to suffer from kleinfelters syndrome (XXY male) AND claims to have ovaries and a uterus..... two completely different conditions, neither of which is in any way connected with gender identity disorder.

  7. Oh over at Gender Trender there was a pic up. One guy named Dana Taylor tanked himself up and female hormones to "lactate" bought himself a electric dual action pump and expressed the toxic waste from his nipples and took pictures of the whole process. When GM suggested ever so slightly he was a sick fetishistic prick his feelings were hurt. Somebody was sending this around from the guys blog. An exchange between the men.
    Talk about fetish
    Dana said
"I shared the link with gallus mag and she basically told me I had no room to talk. They see my breast development and lactation as some kind of perverted thing though it is absolutely normal in a lot of women. I do not get turned on by anything on my own body. I suspect I may have earned my own article on gendertrender. Fingers crossed as it would show I am just like the other trans women they bully."

    VOMIT

Rebbeca Said: Gallusmag and the women who regularly comment on her blog do have an incredible double standard that they apply to trans women. They will criticize the shit out of trans women who do the same thing cis women do.
Just look at the comment posted by the whale who calls herself “motherhood”. Ok so some women can’t express milk on their own and can’t afford a breast pump, so somehow the fact that you CAN afford one makes you a bad person. I guess using her logic, as long as homeless people exist, no one should be able to live in a house."

So stupid--there is no double standard. They are men. Period. Men with sick hard ons from pretending they are women.

No, women don't get erections by playing with women's panties or playing dress up.

There are some things that the transgender community refuses to admit. Paraphilias are more common in males. This seems to hold true across cultures. Does this change becaue the male cross dresses, identifies as transgender, or says that he "feels trapped in the wrong body"? No, it doesn't.

"A paraphilia is a condition in which a person's sexual arousal and gratification depend on fantasizing about and engaging in sexual behavior that is atypical and extreme. A paraphilia can revolve around a particular object (children, animals, underwear) or around a particular act (inflicting pain, exposing oneself). Most paraphilias are far more common in men than in women. The focus of a paraphilia is usually very specific and unchanging.

Paraphilias include sexual behaviors that society may view as distasteful, unusual or abnormal. In descending order, the most common are pedophilia (sexual activity with a child usually 13 years old or younger), exhibitionism (exposure of genitals to strangers), voyeurism (observing private activities of unaware victims) and frotteurism (touching, rubbing against a nonconsenting person), while fetishism (use of inanimate objects), sexual masochism (being humiliated or forced to suffer), sexual sadism (inflicting humiliation or suffering) and transvestic fetishism (cross-dressing) are far less common. Some of these behaviors are illegal and those who are under treatment for paraphilias have often encountered legal situations surrounding their behaviors. There is also a category called Paraphilia Not Otherwise Specified to cover paraphilias not falling into the already named diagnoses such as those involving dead people, urine, feces, enemas and obscene phone calls."

The transgender community refuses to acknowledge autogynephilia.

"Why hearing cis women complain about periods is frustrating for trans* women.

This is a bit of a silly comparison, but I think it's understandable enough.

Imagine you're a kid, and your best friend just got this really cool new video game. However, your family either can't afford to buy you your own game console or the game is exclusive to the console you don't have.

Your greatest wish is just to play the game, but it's a one player game and your friend is a jerk and won't invite you over. Every time you see him at school you he tells you about the game, but when he gets to a recurring boss character, he complains and complains. Sometimes he will even have the gall to say you should be glad you don't have the game, because that means you don't have to deal with that character.

But at the end end of the day, you know that dealing with that one character would be worth it just to have the whole experience.

Later that game out for the console you own, but it's trimmed down with sloppier controls and that one boss character removed, so you'll never truly get the chance to have that experience."

"Blanchard's theory of autogynephilia helps to explain several otherwise puzzling observations about MtF transsexualism. First, it convincingly explains why some men who are attracted to women, who have been fairly successful as men, and who appear unremarkably masculine would wish to undergo sex reassignment. Why would men who have been successful fighter
pilots, construction workers, or captains of industry—men who seem not the least bit feminine, and who appear entirely comfortable being men—want to undergo sex reassignment? Attributing this solely to some long-hidden inner
femininity might seem implausible. But if these individuals found the idea of being a woman sexually appealing, then their motivation would be easier to understand. The phenomenon of a middle-aged man risking his career, his reputation,
and his marriage for the sake of a sexual obsession is well known. By
proposing that certain types of MtF transsexualism can have sexual motivations, rather than (or in addition to) gender motivations, Blanchard’s autogynephilia theory helps to explain this phenomenon.

Second, Blanchard's theory helps to explain the relationship between
transsexualism and transvestism. Transvestism is considered to be a
paraphilia, or unusual pattern of sexual arousal, in the DSM-IV-TR (APA,2000) and has always been classified as such in the DSM. However, clinicians have long recognized that some men who previously considered themselves
transvestites eventually decide to seek SRS and live full-time as women. If transvestism is purely an erotic phenomenon and transsexualism is purely a gender identity phenomenon, then there is no obvious explanation for this progression. But if both transvestism and some forms of MtF transsexualism are manifestations of autogynephilia—an erotic condition that also influences
gender identity—then this progression is explained convincingly.

Third, Blanchard’s autogynephilia theory helps explain why transvestism and transsexualism are often associated with other unusual erotic interests. Sexual scientists have observed for decades that unusual sexual interests—sadomasochism, bondage, autoerotic asphyxia, interest in leather and rubber, exhibitionism, voyeurism, infantilism, pedophilia—frequently do not occur in
isolation, but instead tend to co-occur. Males who have one unusual sexual interest are far more likely to have one or more other unusual sexual interests than would be expected simply by chance (Abel & Osborn, 1992; Wilson &
Gosselin, 1980). And other unusual erotic interests are very common among transvestites and some MtF transsexuals. Wilson and Gosselin (1980) found that 63% of their sample of transvestites and transsexuals also described fetishistic or sadomasochistic interests. Blanchard and Hucker (1991) reported that transvestism accompanied many cases of autoerotic asphyxia. Abel and Osborn (1992) documented the co-occurrence of transvestism and
transsexualism with other paraphilias. If transsexualism and transvestism are purely gender-identity-based phenomena, then these associations makes no
sense. But if transsexualism and transvestism sometimes represent unusual sexual interests—as Blanchard’s autogynephilia theory proposes—then their association with other uncommon sexual interests does make sense."

PLEASE SHOW ME SOME KIND OF PROOF THAT BLANCHARD DID THIS PERSONALLY. I mean actual proof instead of something that was repeated on a transgender website. Transgender activists have a history of viciously attacking anyone they disagree with.

Throughout history gay men and lesbians have been victims of several gruesome methods in an attempt to cure them.

The government of Iran will pay for sex reassignment surgery. However, homosexuals are still executed. Why would one of the most oppressive governments on earth pay for sex reassignment surgery yet execute homosexuals?

They are so terrified of people even mentioning autogynephilia, that they viciously attack anyone who dares whisper the word.

“What happened to Bailey is important, because the harassment was so extraordinarily bad and because it could happen to any researcher in the field,” said Alice Dreger, an ethics scholar and patients’ rights advocate at Northwestern who, after conducting a lengthy investigation of Dr. Bailey’s actions, has concluded that he is essentially blameless. “If we’re going to have research at all, then we’re going to have people saying unpopular things, and if this is what happens to them, then we’ve got problems not only for science but free expression itself...

The site also included a link to the Web page of another critic of Dr. Bailey’s book, Andrea James, a Los Angeles-based transgender advocate and consultant. Ms. James downloaded images from Dr. Bailey’s Web site of his children, taken when they were in middle and elementary school, and posted them on her own site, with sexually explicit captions that she provided. (Dr. Bailey is a divorced father of two.) Ms. James said in an e-mail message that Dr. Bailey’s work exploited vulnerable people, especially children, and that her response echoed his disrespect.

Dr. Dreger is the latest to arrive at the battlefront. She is a longtime advocate for people born with ambiguous sexuality and has been strongly critical of sex researchers in the past. She said she had presumed that Dr. Bailey was guilty and, after meeting him through a mutual friend, had decided to investigate for herself.

But in her just-completed account, due to be published next year in The Archives of Sexual Behavior, the field’s premier journal, she concluded that the accusations against the psychologist were essentially groundless. "

  20. "In a recent review by Anne Lawrence of 11 studies with requisite data, the median percentage of transsexuals who acknowledged a history of sexual arousal to cross-dressing (a hallmark sign of autogynephilia) was 37%. In her large survey of SRS patients of Dr. Toby Meltzer, Lawrence found that 86% of respondents had had at least occasional autogynephilic arousal, and 49% had at least hundreds of episodes of autogynephilic arousal. The percentages given so far have not excluded homosxual transsexuals, in whom the rate of autogynephilia is expected to be low. The percentage of nonhomosexual transsexuals with admitted autogynephilia is very high. In a study by Blanchard (publication #4) the figure was 82%".

A COMMON UNDERSTANDING OF male-to-female transsexualism is that all
MtF transsexuals are, essentially, women trapped in men’s bodies. The standard narrative of men who become women goes something like this: “I have always felt that I was born in the wrong body. I have always been feminine in my interests and feelings. My desire to change sex is about my gender identity and not my sexuality. ”This narrative, which Dreger (2007) has termed “the feminine essence narrative,” represents both what most laypeople believe to be true as well as what transsexuals are likely to say publicly. The narrative has been extended to an
etiological theory, which Lawrence (2007b) has called “the brainsex
theory of transsexualism.” The transsexual advocacy website, transsexual.org, puts this theory succinctly: “A transsexual is a person in which the sex-related
structures of the brain that define gender identity are exactly opposite the physical sex organs of the body.”

The standard, feminine essence narrative, and the associated brain-sex theory, are incorrect, in the sense that they do not represent reality, even if they do correspond with many transsexual individuals’ beliefs and identities. The best scientific
evidence (discussed below) indicates that there are two distinct subtypes of MtF transsexuals, and that the feminine essence narrative at best approximates the life history of only one subtype. Paradoxically, this explanation of MtF transsexualism persists because it is the explanation preferred by the other subtype, to which it does not apply at all. The popularity of the feminine essence narrative reflects factors other than the strength of scientific support. Its persistence has
likely had negative consequences for both science and transsexuals themselves."

    Two Kinds of Male-to-Female Transsexuals

The classification system of MtF transsexuals that we believe to be correct was developed by the psychologist Ray Blanchard in a series of studies conducted at
the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry in Toronto and published between 1985 and 1995. (Blanchard’s relevant oeuvre includes more than 20 articles; we provide only a summary of his conclusions.) Blanchard’s studies reported data on hundreds of transsexual males (that is, males who hoped to become or had become women), as well as other individuals who were male with respect to birth sex and did not desire sex reassignment surgery, but who sometimes presented themselves, or thought of themselves, as female. Participants in these studies were
representative of gender patients in Canada, and were probably also quite similar to patients seen in the United States and Western Europe. Blanchard’s goal was to
make sense out of the diversity of patients that gender clinics saw.

With respect to sexual orientation, Blanchard studied four groups of seemingly diverse male participants: homosexual (entirely attracted to other males), bisexual, heterosexual, and asexual. In three key studies, Blanchard (1985, 1988,1989a) showed that homosexual transsexuals were different in a number of respects from members of the three other groups, and that members of the latter groups did not differ much among themselves. These differences included age
of presentation at the gender clinic, history of childhood femininity, and most importantly, history of erotic arousal in association with cross-dressing and
crossgender fantasy. These findings supported the division of MtF transsexualism into
    two types: homosexual and nonhomosexual.
Blanchard’s work provided a parsimonious and compelling taxonomy for the apparent sexual diversity among MtF
transsexuals, reducing the four types of MtF transsexuals to two fundamentally distinct subtypes."

*It's interesting to note that many MTFs who transition in mid-life are married men who never identified as being gay.

    ReplyDelete
  23. "Arguably, Blanchard’s most important contribution was recognizing and elaborating
the phenomenon that united the three nonhomosexual transsexual subtypes: autogynephilia. Autogynephilia is “a male’s propensity to be attracted to
the thought or image of himself as a woman” (Blanchard 2005). One common manifestation of autogynephilia is fetishistic cross-dressing, which is an extremely common antecedent to seeking sex reassignment among nonhomosexual (but not homosexual) transsexuals (Blanchard, Clemmensen, and Steiner
1987). Some autogynephilic individuals, however, do not cross-dress fetishistically. Indeed, a seminal case in Blanchard’s conceptualization was “Philip,” who
did not cross-dress but fantasized sexually about being a nude woman by focusing on desired anatomical features (Blanchard 1991). Autogynephilia may be conceived as inner-directed heterosexuality. That is, autogynephilic males are like heterosexual men, except that their primary sexual attraction is to the image or idea of themselves as women.

Not all autogynephilic males become transsexuals. Autogynephilic interests run a gamut from cross-dressing to engaging in stereotypic female activities (e.g.,knitting alongside other women) to possessing female breasts and genitalia. It is the latter interest that is most strongly associated with autogynephilic transsexualism (Blanchard 1993b). Other than the precise nature of their autogynephilic fantasy, there is no obvious difference between nonhomosexual crossdressers
who will become transsexuals and those who will not. They are all autogynephiles. Blanchard’s work also clarified the diversity of self-reported sexual orientations
among nonhomosexual transsexuals (Blanchard 1989a). Autogynephilia
(inner-directed heterosexuality) appears to compete with outward-directed heterosexuality. Many autogynephilic transsexuals experience enough outward directed heterosexuality to label themselves as heterosexual pre-
transition. Those whose autogynephilia is strong enough that they experience no
other-directed sexual feelings identify as asexual. Finally, a common aspect of autogynephilia is the erotic fantasy of being admired, in the female persona, by
    another person."

her. But she exists also apart from their inventiveness. ”

@GermanyAnyway, I'm sure they would change their tune if they even had a few hours of full-fledged cramps to contend with.

I completely agree. What is so frustrating to me is how they fetishize the female body. Women aren't just vaginas, and the vagina is an actual organ that is connected to the rest of the female reproductive system. Women menstruate for a reason, and the body sheds the lining of the uterus. Menstrual blood flows from the uterus through the small opening in the cervix and passes out of the body through the vagina. The female anatomy is beautiful in its complexity. To objectify one part of the female anatomy as if a male could just pick or choose which female part he wants and artificially create what he desires, try it on to see how it fits, strikes me as ghoulish. I'm a female and I'm a whole human being. When males objectify part of my anatomy and appropriate it for their own use, it feels sort of like rape. It's hard to put in words, but it feels as if something is being taken from me.

Read this again, and imagine a part of the female body being viewed as a video game, a possession to own, or a cool new gadget.

  30. It's just not about a pill to make it appear as if they are "menstruating". Female uteruses could become commodities to be bought and sold. Of course, the eggs would still would have to come from females, but they could always find some poor woman living in India or any inner city housing project who would part with her eggs for a little cash. This isn't progressive. Rather, it's chillingly Orwellian and deeply disturbing. Parts of human female bodies placed on the open market going out to the highest bidder. What are they doing to do next, and what are they grooming us for? Are they doing to start breeding females in laboratories for our spare parts?

    Trans woman seeks uterine transplant

The price tag for the surgery not cheap at $250,000 — but that doesn’t daunt Luiz, who now works as a server at a local restaurant chain. (good look with that)

Yes, that's horrifying AND it's coming. Of course, the poorest women of the world will be harvested for their organs. Of course!! They will be butchered so men with money can live out their twisted delusions. Remember, men's wants always come before women's needs.

  32. I would like to follow up with the exceedingly creepy, sick, twisted, and Frankensteinish 'uterus transplant' for biological males who are MTFs who feel some need to 'experience' pregnancy. Pregnancy is not some kind of fetish or experience. It's how humans come into the world. This is a very serious issue. Without proper pre-natal care, women throughout history have died giving birth, and their babies face death or disability too. Moreover, they call it labor for a reason.

Do MTFs think about the following? Of course, they don't because it's all about their special feelings or right to experience "womanhood" any way they see fit.

"Even if a uterine transplant could be effected, the drugs used to avoid rejection would make carrying a baby in that uterus a risky proposition.

We don't know yet what the long-term effects are for a baby carried to term while taking anti-rejection drugs, and won't know for another decade (the first patients of kidney and heart transplant who were allowed to get pregnant date back to the late 70s --since then, anti-relection drugs have changed, too, and the latest generation has not been in use since the late 80s).

Considering the ethical issues involved (as this point) with allowing a "gender reassigned" woman to get a uterus, frankly I don't see any team of surgeons taking the risk of allowing her to carry a baby to term at this point, even if the uterus transplant itself were possible."

"She hasn't actually done it - and IMO, she has a snowflake's chance of getting one. It would be far more sensible to do it on a cis woman, and on a YOUNG cis woman - not a 44 yr old trans woman."

So, Sara Luiz is a 44 year old trans woman who wants a uterus transplant? This is full blown insanity.

    I especially like this comment.

"From a practical standpoint though, any offspring produced would be the biological progeny of the organ donor, so one has to wonder what would be the point, since the children would not be the biological children of the transplant recipient. The transplant recipient may as well have adopted them. "

I can understand heart transplants if a person is dying because of heart disease. Why even try something like a uterine transplant when all the MTF would be is a indubator of sorts. It's not like they would be contributing any genetic inheritance to the fetus. If a biological male MTF wants a child of his own, freeze the sperm and be a father instead of some kind of Frankenstein incubator for an actual human fetus.

There is also the issue of where the uterus would come from. Would the uterus come from a woman who has recently passed away like they do for heart transplants? Technically, women don't have to have their uterus to live. I can imagine some wealthy, white, MTF in his mid-thirties going out and purchasing a uterus from some poor woman in a developing country just to experience "motherhood". This really is sick and twisted to me. Women being used as body parts to fulfill some fetish.

  33. That is creepy, but I guess someone will eventually think of opening a full-blown trans clinic where they'll just remove the uterus from an ftm and put it in an mtf in the same operating room.

A "full-blown trans clinic"...more like Dr. Frankenstein's little house of horrors and all the lab assistants are on crack cocaine...

... just cut out the uterus of a FTM (female) and stitch it into a MTF (male) so he can "feel just like a woman"...

    ...sounds simple enough to me.

In humans, this has never resulted in a pregnancy being carried full term. By the way, this was a female donor and female recipient.

"A uterine transplant on a Turkish woman who was born without a uterus was performed on August 9, 2011 by Dr. Ömer Özkan, Dr. Munire Erman Akar and their team at Akdeniz University Hospital in Antalya, Turkish Riviera was and still is the world's first successful uterus transplant surgery.

On the 12th of April 2013, Akdeniz University announced that Derya Sert was pregnant. The statement made by the university hospital also added that Sert would give birth by C-section to prevent any complications. On 14 May 2013, it was announced that Sert terminated her pregnancy in its 8th week following a routine examination where doctors failed to detect a fetal heartbeat.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uterus_transplantation

How much would this cost, and who would pay for this monstrous experiment?

What about the anti-rejection drugs, and how would they impact both the patient and the fetus? That is, even if a "pregnancy" could occur.

Unlike a heart or kidney transplant, it doesn't prolong life. What is the medical rationale? We are putting two people's lives at risk just so a biological male can fulfill some twisted fantasy.

How would the MTF (male) feel if the FTM (female) died in surgery just to fulfill his goal of having a uterus like a "woman"?

  35. There are some scientists and bioethicists who actually sat down and thought of some of the ethical considerations involved in a uterine transplant.

The Montreal Criteria for the Ethical Feasibility of Uterine
Transplantation, taken directly from Lefkowitz et al.

    The recipient:

    a. Is a genetic female of reproductive age with no medical contraindications to transplantation,
    b. Has documented congenital or acquired UFI which has failed all current gold standard and conservative therapy,

    c. (c1) has a personal or legal contraindication to surrogacy and adoption measures,
or (c2) seeks the Utx solely as a measure to experience gestation, with an
understanding of the limitations provided by the Utx in this respect,
    d. Has not had her decision to undergo Utx deemed as irrational by expert
    psychological evaluation,
    e. Does not exhibit frank unsuitability for motherhood, and
    f. Is responsible enough to consent, informed enough to make a responsible
    decision, and not under coercion.

    The donor:

    a. Is a female of reproductive age with no medical contraindications to donation,
    b. (h1) has repeatedly attested to her conclusion of parity, or (h2) has signed an
advanced directive for post-mortem organ donation,
    c. Has no history of uterine damage or disease, and
    d. Is responsible enough to consent, informed enough to make a responsible
    decision, and not under coercion

    The health care team:

    a. Is part of an institution that meets Moore’s third criteria as it pertains to
    institutional stability,
    b. Has provided adequate informed consent to both parties regarding risks,
potential sequelae, and chances of success and failure,
    c. Has no conflict of interest independently or with either party, and
    d. Has the duty to preserve anonymity if the donor or recipient do not explicitly
    waive this right

What the Montreal Criteria do not address is the ethics of
transferring utx technology to low-income, pronatalistic, highly
patriarchal societies. As discussed above, there exists potential for increased ‘bioviolence’ [61] or structural violence [62] in Pakistan with
the emergence of this new transplant technology which could further disadvantage poor, marginalized and already-exploited Pakistani
    women.

  36. (UFI) refers to the refractory causes of female infertility stemming from the anatomical or physiological inability of a uterus to sustain gestation.

This is a female who has something wrong with her uterus. Males aren't born with a uterus.

Who is Charles Moser, and what has he done?

I'm not the least bit impressed with Charles Moser. Zoophilia, BDSM, and foot fetishes aren't things that interest me.

I would like to share some interesting tidbits of information about Charles Moser. Moser doesn't think pedophilia and zoophilia (a sexual attraction to animals) are mental illnesses. I beg to differ. Besides, there is nothing impressive about a medical degree from Hahnemann University.

He went from an undergrad degree in physics from a state college to a MSW (Social Work) to a medical degree from Hahnemann University.
I'm sorry, but it doesn't impress me.

"Moser received his B.S. in physics from State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1974. He then earned an M.S.W. from the University of Washington in 1975 and a degree from the non-accredited Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in 1979. He is currently Professor of Sexology and Dean of Professional Studies there. He earned his M.D. from Hahnemann University School of Medicine, a homeopathic medical school, in 1991. He has practiced as a board-certified Internal Medicine physician since 1994. Moser has served as the President of the Western Region of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality and is on the Editorial Board of San Francisco Medicine.

Publications have included discussions of paraphilia, use of Viagra by women, foot fetishes, nipple piercing, sadomasochism, safer sex, orgasm, and the effects of recreational drugs on sexual functioning. He has stated that the prevalence of sadomasochism is around 10% of the population. The specific paraphilias he has questioned as mental illnesses include pedophilia, hebephilia, sadism, autogynephilia, and zoophilia."

American Psychiatric Association Symposium Debates Whether Pedophilia, Gender-Identity Disorder, Sexual Sadism Should Remain Mental Illnesses
    By Linda Ames Nicolosi

On Monday, May 19th, 2003 in San Francisco, at a symposium hosted by the American Psychiatric Association, several long-recognized categories of mental illness were discussed for possible removal from the upcoming edition of the psychiatric manual of mental disorders.

Among the mental illnesses being debated in the symposium at the APA's annual convention were all the paraphilias--which include pedophilia, exhibitionism, fetishism, transvestism, voyeurism, and sadomasochism.

Also being debated was gender-identity disorder, a condition in which a person feels persistent discomfort with his or her biological sex.

Dr Robert Spitzer responded to the symposium as a discussant, urging that the paraphilias and gender-identity disorder be retained in the psychiatric manual.

Disagreeing, Psychiatrist Charles Moser of San Francisco's Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality and co-author Peggy Kleinplatz of the University of Ottawa presented a paper entitled, "DSM-IV-TR and the Paraphilias: An Argument for Removal." They argued that people whose sexual interests are atypical, culturally forbidden, or religiously proscribed should not, for those reasons, be labeled mentally ill.

Pedophiles are sick bastards who should be locked up and zoophilia is just plain creepy. This is my take on Charles Moser.
