Promoting the Transition of Children and Gay/Lesbian Genocide

From a recent Huff article:

Since my medical school years, not only have the numbers of successful social and medical transitions skyrocketed in America and around the globe...Today all our medical associations, from the broad-based American Medical Association (AMA) to the brain-related mental health organizations, such as the American Psychological Association (APA) and the American Psychiatric Association (APA), recognize the trans experience as a normal...So today we have professional medical acceptance of adult trans persons and increasing acceptance of trans adolescents. Gender clinics are flourishing in Boston (including the Gender Management Service Clinic, which was founded by Dr. Norman Spack), Los Angeles and Chicago, with new ones in development in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and elsewhere. The controversy in the profession is now focused on children, particularly gender-variant children...Let me make it clear: There is no surgical intervention done in this country before the age of consent, at 18. And hormonal treatment, with puberty-blocking hormones, a completely reversible (a complete lie) process, is not prescribed until the onset of puberty....We are left with a mental health profession that has made great strides but is still blind to the pain of gender incongruence, which they exacerbate when they deny transition.

Where does one even begin with the deep level of Gender Straight Jacketed ignorance, misogyny, homophobia and anti-feminism in this piece? The only thing this author has right is post queer theory-post feminist backlash the trans concept/practice trending globally out of control. And in less than TWO months part of that out of control-ness being leveled at children labeled " gender-variant."

Gender Variant, meaning any child who does not conform to narrow patriarchal definitions of the sexes. Say a boy who may want to grow up to be a nurse rather than a doctor or a young girl who wants to grow up to be a doctor rather than a nurse, gender variants. A girl who plays sports, gender variant. A boy who enjoys cooking with mom, gender variant. A boy who loves pink, gender variant. A girl who likes her hair short, gender variant. A boy who plays with "girl toys/dolls", gender variant. A girl who plays army with the boys, gender variant. A girl who wants to grow up a marry another girl, gender variant. A boy who has a crush on another boy, gender variant. You get the picture?

Gender Variant while harmful to both sexes, sets back feminism to the caveman age or perhaps before! It dictates that behavior is based solely on sex. And if your behavior doesnt match your sex, something is amiss with you that needs serious fucking fixing! Gender Variant indeed!

Gender Variant is  Bettisia Gozzadini

You forgot Simone de Beauvoir on your list.

Other than that, great post. Solidarity.

  2. In any actual research of any merit, one always has to consider the source. Eye surgeons have no special expertise in psychiatry, other medical specialties, medical ethics, or history.

"She", Dana Beyer, Director of Gender Rights Maryland, is the author of this Huffington Post article.

"She" sure has a low voice for a "woman".

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSuL-NsazhI

If this is a woman, then I'm the Queen of England. I know that eye surgeons aren't gynecologists or obstetricians, but even they should know that only females give birth. Perhaps she missed this biology lecture. In the beginning of this video, "she" says that "she" is the mother of grown two sons. Biological males calling themselves mothers as if a fetus developed in their wombs for nine months seems like an insult to women who actually are in labor for hours bringing children into this world. Male ejaculation is not the same thing as two hours of female labor and delivery.

If "she" is the mother, what does the actual mother have to say about this? I wonder if the real mother supported him while he was in medical school.

Sorry for the typo...I meant to say "mother" of two grown sons.

  4. "The controversy in the profession is now focused on children, particularly gender-variant children assigned male at birth who desire to socially transition. Let me make it clear: There is no surgical intervention done in this country before the age of consent, at 18. And hormonal treatment, with puberty-blocking hormones, a completely reversible process, is not prescribed until the onset of puberty. The controversy relates fully to the social aspects of gender transition."

No, the controversy just doesn't relate to the social aspects of "transitioning". There are medical, ethical, and cultural aspects that are glossed over.

Why do they intentionally mislead people time and time again? It's true that puberty suppressing drugs can be discontinued and normal adolescent development will start, but this isn't the complete truth. They conveniently leave out certain unpleasant facts. Some children go straight from the puberty suppressing drugs to cross gender hormones. It's my understanding, that with parental approval, cross gender hormones can start at age 16. For all practical purposes, we are de-sexing humans.

Treatment with puberty delaying drugs leads to sterilization if it is followed with the administration of cross sex hormones at 16 years, as the Brill and Pepper handbook on “transgender” children (2008), explains, “the choice to progress from GnRH inhibitors to estrogen without fully experiencing male puberty should be viewed as giving up one's fertility, and the family and child should be counseled accordingly” (Brill & Pepper, 2008, p. 216). For girls, sterilization is the outcome too, because “eggs do not mature until the body goes through puberty” (Brill & Pepper, 2008, p. 216). The issue of fertility, the handbook asserts, may bother parents more than the “teens”, because the latter may think short term and not be able to contemplate much more than getting transgendered in the present (Brill & Pepper, 2008, p. 220). The handbook speaks of other serious effects of the transgendering of children. It says that birth defects may occur in children born to “transmen taking testosterone prior to pregnancy” (Brill & Pepper, 2008, p. 219). It also warns that genital surgery can lead to the absence of sexual feeling, and comments that young people may not understand the importance of this (Brill & Pepper, 2008, p. 220). But, the handbook advises, “teens” can have sexual surgeries such as the removal of testes or breast removal, at any age, not necessarily 18, so long as their parents and a surgeon are willing (Brill & Pepper, 2008, p. 220). This does seem to contradict the warnings that accompany this advice, about the difficulty “teens” may have in understanding the implications of such surgeries for fertility and sexual pleasure.

There is no surgical intervention done in this country before the age of consent, at 18.

Question: Do children actually "consent" to puberty suppressing drugs or cross gender hormones at age 16? Getting extensive plastic surgery on one's healthy genitals is called "surgical intervention".

As to surgery, they can always fly their kid to Thailand where they could care less about age or a letter from a therapist. Thailand and Iran are the number one and number two top countries for sex reassignment surgery. Surgeons in Thailand could care less about a letter from a therapist as long as they get their money. Iran carries out sex reassignment surgery as a way to deal with its homosexual problem. Indeed, the Iranian government will actually pay for SRS. However, homosexuals are still executed in Iran.

So by this same logic, if a lesbian couple has a child, then only one of the partners can call herself the mother. I can see that going over well within the lesbian community!

SHOW ME ONE LESBIAN WHO EVER IMPREGNANTED A WOMAN WITH SPERM THAT CAME FROM HER OWN BODY AS OPPOSED TO A MALE SPERM DONOR. Women don't father children.

Question: Who is the biological father of Dana Beyer's children? Apparently, they do not have a father. Where did the fetus develop? Males don't have ovaries and a uterus.

  7. Dana Beyer is a man he is the father of his children. He does not care about children all he cares about is keeping the delusion going and if kids serve that purpose then that's great. See how the delusion works, 1st he is a women and then by some other miracle he become a mother--that some body modification surgery. He is a prick and liar and will launch cyber attacks against women and try to get them fired--this is a BAD MAN. I have dealt with him indirectly.

  10. Mother Nature doesn't make mistakes & gender non conforming people/sissys & tomboys (or whatever terminology one chooses to use) have always & will always exist. Even if a whole generation is transitioned there will be more... because the vast majority of the time straight people give birth to them! We will one day look back at these hormonal & surgical 'treatment' & 'interventions' in horror.
My current love interest (super hot, super smart & very healthy & happy butch lesbian) is a shrink & has dealt with many GLBIQ people of all ages. She said based on her practice it is pretty obvious that all this trans stuff is a trend. True GID is incredibly rare & most people are just suffering from garden variety depression & anxiety... or sometimes worse, looking for a way to be interesting & original now that being gay is becoming increasingly socially acceptable.

  15. I want to return to the issue of puberty suppressing drugs because common sense tells us that there are ethical issues involved in intentionally delaying a normal part of human development, puberty, because of what essentially amounts to as a psychological disorder or condition.

THE USE OF PUBERTY SUPPRESSING DRUGS FOR "GENDER DYSHPORIA" IN CHILDREN ASSUMES ALL THE FOLLOWING:

(1.) The diagnosis of "gender dysphoria" or GID in children is accurate, and there isn't something else going on in the child's life.

(2.) The child is completely free from any parental, peer, or cultural influences. How much is actual "gender dysphoria" or GID and how much is parental discomfort at having a child that doesn't fit neatly into sex based gender roles?

(3.) Children have the mental capacity to decide or choose for themselves.

Do children have the mental capacity, reasoning skills, and judgment to make informed decisions? All adolescents feel awkward and different, but this doesn't mean that they have the ability to weigh all their options. The pre-frontal cortex of the human brain which is sometimes called the judgment center of the brain isn’t fully developed until the early to mid-twenties.

”The prefrontal cortex, the part of the frontal lobes lying just behind the forehead, is often referred to as the “CEO of the brain.” This brain region is responsible for cognitive analysis and abstract thought, and the moderation of “correct” behavior in social situations. The prefrontal cortex takes in information from all of the senses and orchestrates thoughts and actions to achieve specific goals.1,2 This brain region gives an individual the capacity to exercise “good judgment” when presented with difficult life situations. Brain research indicating that brain development is not complete until near the age of 25, refers specifically to the development of the prefrontal cortex.”

This is just hilarious and I can't remember when I've laughed so hard. There are a lot of other things that make me fall off my chair, and roll on the floor laughing.

I'm sure there are some gay men in Iran who have been coerced into sex reassignment surgery which, by the way, the Iranian government will fund sure wish they still had their testicles. No one put a gun to their heads, but if they stayed gay as opposed to becoming a "woman" via surgery, they know they would have been executed for the crime of being gay. Why would one of the most oppressive governments on earth pay for sex reassignment surgery yet execute homosexuals? It's one way that they deal with their homosexual problem. Actually, Iran has no homosexuals. This is what they tell us.

We know four things. First, the mutilation of healthy female bodies in all its forms never completely goes out of fashion. When I actually see what FTM "top surgery" and "bottom surgery" actually entails, I often wonder how future historians will judge us. It looks like a form of violence being carried out on the female sex. Second, it's a historical fact that gay men and lesbians have been subject to some rather ghastly medical procedures in an attempt to cure or change them. Third, we also know that there have been periods in history in which sex reassignment surgery has been used as a means of social control, specifically the erasing of gay and lesbian identity. Fourth, scientists and researchers have know for some time that, if left alone, many gender non-conforming children eventually grow up to be gay men or lesbians.

Female genital mutilation, Chinese foot binding that went on for centuries, the horrific practice of breast ironing etc. make me want to laugh out loud. Indeed, it's just one big hilarious joke.

The fact that throughout history gay men and lesbians have been subject to some rather ghastly, gruesome, and macabre medical experiments and procedures designed to cure them is equally humorous. This has happened in western countries.

    ReplyDelete
  17. It's hilarious continued...

"The grim details of the control and punishment of lesbians and gay men by the scientists of sex throughout most of the twentieth century was laid out in the earliest, gay liberation-inspired, history of lesbians and gay men in the US, Jonathan Katz's Gay American History (1976). This history is important because the carrying out of sexual surgeries on lesbians and gay men is common to both the early period and to the transgenderism of the present. Katz writes that, “Lesbians and Gay men have long been subjected to a varied, often horrifying list of ‘cures’ at the hands of psychiatric-psychological professionals, treatments usually aimed at asexualization or heterosexual reorientation" (Katz, 1976, p. 197). These treatments, which went on well into the second half of the twentieth century, included surgeries such as castration, hysterectomy, and vasectomy. Women were subjected in the nineteenth century to surgical removal of the ovaries and of the clitoris, a treatment designed as a “cure” for various forms of what was called female “erotomania”, and included lesbianism. Lobotomy was performed as late as the 1950s. A range of drug therapies were also used such as the administration of hormones, LSD, sexual stimulants, and sexual depressants, alongside other treatments such as hypnosis and electric and chemical shock treatment, and aversion therapy (Katz, 1976, p.197). Katz comments that the homosexual victims of sexual surgeries were sometimes “acquiescent”, and sought out treatment, as those requesting to be transgendered do today. Indeed involuntariness is by no means a necessary element in eugenics practices generally. Katz explains that the case histories he examined in his research showed, “Numbers of these histories concern guilt-ridden, self-hating homosexuals, who have so internalized society's condemnation that they seek out cruel forms of treatment as punishment; they play what can only be termed a masochistic game, in which the doctor is assigned, and accepts, a truly sadistic (as well as remunerative) role” (Katz, 1976, p. 200). Katz does not include the transgendering of homosexual men and lesbians within these abusive medical treatments, but Bernice Hausman, in her feminist critique of transgenderism, does (Hausman, 1995). Hausman argues that the treatment of intersexuality and transsexuality in the mid twentieth century was motivated by a large extent by the desire to reduce the possibility of homosexuality and to create heterosexual citizens."

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/dana-beyer/gender-transition-in-children_b_3530335.html?ncid=edlinkusaolp00000003

First of all, I don't believe the term "trans experience" is an actual medical term or something that is listed in the DSM.

Question: What exactly is "the trans experience"? Is there a precise definition of "the trans experience"? If so, how do we quantify this "experience"?

Question: Isn't it possible for butch lesbians to exhibit the same exact childhood behaviors as trans identified females? My parents called me a tomboy, and I can say with all certainty that I was far more gender non-conforming as a child than Chaz Bono ever was. So, for all practical purposes, can't the "trans experience" be largely culturally based?

There is no doubt in my mind that certain intrepid people throughout history have always stepped outside the boundaries of traditional sex roles. (1.) They weren't always called transgender. (2.) They didn't always get surgery on their healthy genitals or take cross gender hormones for years.

I know I've said it before, but I'll keep saying it until it sinks in. TRANSGENDER DOES NOT HAVE EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS ON ALL GENDER NON-CONFORMITY BOTH PAST AND PRESENT. The notion that anything out of the ordinary as far as gender non-conformity is concerned must be transgender is just an idea or belief.

The "transgender experience" however one defines it is not a pathology according to Dana Beyer. He goes on to imply that something that IS NOT A PATHOLOGY MUST BE TREATED MEDICALLY AND SURGICLALY. So, here are puberty suppressing drugs to treat male children who don't like sports, are sweet and timid, and look a little too sissy. We can also treat the girls who don't like dresses and Barbies. We will follow this up with cross gender hormones at age 16, and at age 18 they can get extensive plastic surgery on their genitals. It's not a pathology, but you have to have a life time of cross gender hormones to treat it.

I agree that rejecting traditional sex roles is not a pathology. However, children who don't fit neatly into sex based roles of what constitutes proper "masculine" or "feminine" behavior don't need to be "fixed". They certainly don't puberty suppressing drugs.

I respect the fact that Dr. Beyer was an eye surgeon and I'm sure he has treated many people, but this doesn't make him an expert in psychiatry, medical ethics, or anything else.

IT'S A FACT THAT SOME OF THE MOST GHASTLY AND HORRIFYING HUMAN EXPERIMENTS WERE FIRST CARRIED OUT BY DOCTORS AND OTHERS IN THE MEDICAL FIELD.

DOCTORS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT. WE HAVE HISTORY TO PROVE IT.

Couple sues over adopted son's sex-assignment surgery

    May 14, 2013

    http://news.yahoo.com/couple-sues-over-adopted-sons-early-sex-assignment-185711866.html

    By Colleen Jenkins

    WINSTON-SALEM, North Carolina (Reuters)

"A South Carolina couple sued doctors and state social workers on Tuesday for subjecting a 16-month-old child born with both male and female genitalia to what they say was medically unnecessary and irreversible sex-assignment surgery while the toddler was in foster care.

The state and federal lawsuits - believed by the couple's lawyers to be the first of their kind in the United States - argue that doctors should not have performed surgery to make the child's body appear to be female when they knew they could not predict how gender would develop.

The child, now 8, has shown strong signs of identifying as male and recently began living as a boy, according to Pam and Mark Crawford, who adopted him after the surgery.

The couple, a psychiatrist and stay-at-home dad, said they are taking legal action in the hopes of helping other children who face similar medical conditions.

"We feel very strongly that these decisions to permanently alter somebody's genitalia and their reproductive ability for no medical reason whatsoever is an abhorrent practice and can't be continued," Pam Crawford said in a phone interview.

"It is too late for our son," she added. "The damage has been done to him."

The lawsuit filed in state court in Columbia names the South Carolina Department of Social Services, Greenville Hospital System and Medical University of South Carolina as defendants.

Spokeswomen for the state department and the hospital system said they could not comment on the pending litigation, which alleges gross negligence and medical malpractice based on a lack of informed consent.

A spokeswoman for the Medical University of South Carolina - where the surgery took place - said the suit would be reviewed by the hospital's leadership and general counsel.

The child, identified only as M.C., was born in South Carolina in November 2004 and entered the state's foster care system in February 2005 after being removed from the custody of his biological parents.

Shortly after he was born, doctors noted that he had "ambiguous genitals" and both male and female reproductive organs, the lawsuits said.

Though doctors determined that he could be raised as either a boy or a girl, they opted for genital surgery that made the child's body look female - a decision the Crawfords say was premature because his dominant gender identity had not yet emerged.

"The surgery eliminated M.C.'s potential to procreate as a male and caused a significant and permanent impairment of sexual function," according to the filings in state court.

"The doctors knew that sex assignment surgeries on infants with conditions like M.C.'s poses a significant risk of imposing a gender that is ultimately rejected by the patient," the lawsuit says.

The federal lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Charleston, South Carolina, says the surgery violated the child's constitutional rights.

  22. It's important to understand that the vast majority of transgender individuals are either biological males or biological females without and actual intersex or disorder of sexual development. I don't know what intersex medical condition this child has, but disorders of sexual development can be diagnosed with genetic or medical tests. Transgender is essentially all in one's mind. It's possible for a intersex individual to identify as trans, but trans and intersex are NOT one and the same. The moral of the story is this. There is a history of the surgical treatment of children who don't fit a socially prescribed definition of what is proper masculine or feminine features or attributes.

    RISKS NOT FULLY EXPLAINED

Sex-assignment surgeries on infants with intersex conditions, previously called hermaphroditism, have been performed since the 1950s, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center and Advocates for Informed Choice, which are helping represent the Crawfords and their child.

The medical procedures often are performed without the risks being fully explained, the groups said.

"Doctors often assume they have to do surgery to make their bodies fit the stereotypes," said Anne Tamar-Mattis, executive director of Advocates for Informed Choice, a legal advocacy group for children born with variations of reproductive or sexual anatomy. In the case of the Crawfords' child, "the doctors knew from the beginning that there was a strong probability that this child would be a boy."

The Crawfords, who live in Columbia, said they initially raised M.C. as a girl after gaining custody when the toddler was about 20 months old.

  25. THE HIGH HEEL TOSS HEARD AROUND THE WORLD...

    ..ONLY PROBLEM..IT'S NOT EXACTLY TRUE.

In this video, Dana Beyer says that rumor has it that it was a transwoman who threw a high heel that started the Stonewall rebellion. Why do gay men and lesbians put up with complete co-option of our history by transgender interests that are responsible for "transitioning" via surgery and hormones, puberty suppressing drugs, etc. gay and lesbian youth? Butch lesbians have almost been "transitioned" out of existence, then they steal our history. Dana, I don't think so.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSuL-NsazhI

Two gay men and a butch lesbian sparked the rebellion...drag queens/trans might have been there, but Raymond Castro, Marilyn Fowler and Vincent DePaul are listed in the actual police reports.

Stonewall Riot Police Reports, June 28, 1969

Officer Charles Broughton of the 1st Division arrested Raymond Castro, Marilyn Fowler and Vincent DePaul, charging that they “with each other did shove and kick the officer.” This is the first time that Fowler and DePaul have been named and documented as rebellion participants. Fowler’s name is extremely significant, since no other woman’s arrest has so far been documented, and numbers of witnesses attributed the intensification of the riot to the arrest and resistance of an unnamed butch lesbian.

    http://www.outhistory.org/wiki/Stonewall_Riot_Police_Reports,_June_28,_1969

    More on Marilyn Fowler..

In June it will be forty years since that angry lesbian was handcuffed and dragged kicking and screaming to the squad car. Twice she got free and tried to run back into the Stonewall Inn. And twice the cops tackled her and dragged her back to the car.

LGBT people in New York City had been harassed, dehumanized, beaten, and arrested for decades and until June 27th, 1969 they had never done anything about it. But that hot June night forty years ago, everything changed and would never be the same again for LGBT Americans.

Nobody knows who this woman was. But witnesses say she was visiting a bar employee who was a friend when the police bar raid occurred that night. She was arrested and handcuffed for not wearing the three pieces of clothing correct for her gender according to New York law. But that night she decided that she had had enough and she wasn't going to take it anymore.

"Don't be so rough!" she yelled at the cops as they yanked her towards the front door. That's when one of the cops hit her with his billy club. From that point on she fought them all the way to the squad car fighting and cussing. One witness said, "There's no doubt about that, furious for whatever reason, she put up a fight. She was giving them their money's worth."

It took four police officers to get her to the squad car. In his 2004 book, Stonewall - the Riots that Sparked the Gay Revolution author David Carter says, "As the heroic fight by the lesbian who had twice escaped the car neared it's end, the crowd erupted."

"Why don't you guys do something?!!" she shouted to the crowd of hundreds just before the cops bodily threw her into the car. In Carter's book, a witness said that the woman's fighting "set the whole crowd wild - beserk!"

  26. Other witnesses agree that it was the lesbian's struggle with the police that ignited the riot. "It was at that moment that the scene became explosive," one man said. At that moment "the turning point came."

Someone took a knife and slashed all four tires on the police car. Others started throwing bricks and trashcans. The mob's anger exploded. "That's when the police backed down and barricaded themselves in the Stonewall," Carter writes in his book.

For the next five hours four-hundred LGBT people rioted outside the Stonewall Inn trying to get inside the bar and at the police. Carter writes, "A general assault now began on the Stonewall Inn using anything and everything the crowd outside could get it's hands on; garbage, garbage cans, pieces of glass, fire, bricks, cobblestones, and an improvised battering ram were all used to attack the police held up inside the Stonewall Inn."

"Everybody in the crowd felt that we were never going to go back. It was like the last straw. It was time to reclaim something that had always been taken from us. All kinds of people, all different reasons, but mostly it was total outrage, anger, sorrow, everything combined. "

By daybreak LGBT people in New York City knew that things would never be the same again.

Forty years have passed and nobody knows who that angry woman was who fought the police that night. She has never come forward to take credit for her heroic actions. But the words she shouted at the crowd for gays to fight back ignited a revolution and we've been fighting back ever since.

  27. Being gay and lesbian is all in one's mind too. That doesn't make a person less gay or lesbian. We are our brains.

Being heterosexual is all in one's mind too. They don't get their healthy genitals removed, or take a life time of hormones. They don't need "surgical intervention" to be who they are.

Pre-teens are given puberty suppressing drugs at age 12 or 13, and cross gender hormones at 16 for "gender dysphoria" which, whether they admit it or not, can't be distinguished from everything parents and teenagers read from transgender websites or hear from friends.

My point is this. There is "medical intervention" for something that is in their minds, a feeling, or belief, and it's largely culturally based to being with. How do we quantify this? Moreover, history is littered with numerous examples of ghastly trends and fads gone awry.
