A Call Out-Shout Out-Scream Out to All Feminists and RadFems

Words have meaning! Meaning impregnates words with the ability to effectively communicate with each other. Prior to academia digging its ivory towered little fingers into postmodernism, writers creatively utilized words, without draining them of meaning or infusing them with their own. They did so to convey ideas, entertain us through fiction or keep us abreast of issues via political commentary.

Academia's collusion with postmodernism spawned Queer Theory which bastardized how words were used, but more importantly willy-nilly replaced long established meaning with definitions created for personal use. A personal use which has in a short span of time collectively formed a politic that is now the vanguard of the Trans Movement and at the forefront of the backlash against feminism.

If you aren't too short sighted, there is no question that much of this will sound terrifyingly familiar. It wasn't so long ago that Nazi Germany employed similar language hocus-pocus routines. The Nazi Party used word and definition gymnastics to couch victim complacency, including victim participation in their own destruction. It is this complacent and willing participation by Feminist/RadFem circles in their/our own silence, erasure and potential demise, mirroring history's heretics.

Resettlement, liquidation, the East; a few words Nazi leaders redefined and used to aid in the murder of millions labeled undesirables. Words even those undesirables fooled themselves into believing, holding out all hope till they were marched to their very deaths.

I labeled this post a Call Out-Shout Out-Scream Out to All Feminists and RadFems. I am asking each of you to go above and beyond using your feminist voices, I am asking you to use language responsibly. I am asking that you remain as faithful to language as you are to feminism! I am asking you to stand along side words, guarding them with your life, for at this juncture our feminist/female lives depend upon them. Do NOT be fooled by academic propaganda. Do NOT be fooled by political correctness. Do NOT fear insulting someone's chosen identity. Do NOT fear verbal reprisals when you keep meaning within words.

REPEAT AFTER ME: Transwomen are NOT women anymore than Transmen are men!

When we call a trans male a transwoman, whether we realize it or not, we're lending a certain legitimacy to his claims of being a woman. Same is true for trans females claiming to be transmen. That legitimacy has thus far lead to some serious legal repercussions for the legitimacy of biological females. Our very nature is being legally ripped out from underneath us and WE are helping the Trans Politic to do so!

Do NOT participate OR be complacent in our legal deaths!

Stop wasting time arguing proper sex and pronoun use.

TRANSWOMAN = TRANS MALE=HE/HIM AND TRANSMAN = TRANS FEMALE=SHE/HER...PERIOD!

  1. With regard to language, it has always bothered me that the words for non-males are formed in reference TO males: woMAN, woMEN, feMALE, even huMAN. Why are there no better choices for us?

Fare, this is an excellent point. Wouldn't it be so utterly bold and audacious as to make the whole universe tremble and shake if women could define ourselves, and define male in terms of us. Males will now be defined in terms of non-males. How should we go about doing this?

  3. I have been thinking about this for many years, with little to show for it. One thing I have adopted, which I borrowed from Buddhism, is to use "all sentient beings" instead of mankind or humanity.

I have never liked "womyn", as it seems contrived and still basically male-referent. I guess a whole new term is needed. But that would be tremendously hard to popularize. What do you think?

I like all sentient beings better than mankind. I don't think "womyn" is basically male-referent.

It's been awhile since I've practiced sitting meditation. However, I like to practice what I describe as my own, special personal walking meditation in the quiet park close to where I live. I've read many books by Pema Chadron and Thich Nhat Hanh. I do not belong to a sangha or meditation group now because I could never seem to find a place that felt as safe, comfortable, and warm as my first group that I sat with. My old instructor was female, and I learned so much from her.

I completely agree. The idea that it is possible to surgically create a woman from a biological male was something that was forced on women. Did women get to vote on it? It's always been my belief that deep down in our hearts most women never did buy into the idea of trans identified males being "women". Women are just conditioned to be non-confrontational and never to be outspoken in our beliefs or needs.

I would like to speak directly to any and all women who might read this. Women do not have to put up with this. Women far outnumber the transgender community. Without the women's vote, who really thinks Obama would have won a second term? Women are like a sleeping giant that transgender really don't want to rouse from our slumber. Since women outnumber transgender in terms of voting power,

(a.) We don't want another 45 year old trans male like Collen Francis exposing his penis to our 17 year old daughters because of poorly worded "gender identity" laws.

(b.) We don't want male sex offenders who have been known to cross dress and/or identify as transgender (Paul Witherspoon, Thomas Lee Benson, Lynda Myers, Sherri Masbruch, Richard Rendler) anywhere near our children or our restrooms, locker rooms, etc. Women have the voting power to make it happen. Let the politicians know how we feel.

(c.) We don't want males occupying our restrooms, lockers rooms, saunas, etc. because of "gender identity" laws. Women have the voting power to make it happen.

(d.) We don't want women's athletic programs destroyed by allowing biological males to compete against biological females. It is fundamentally unfair to expect female athletes to compete against males, and this will eventually erode the integrity of women's sports.

(e.) All other historically oppressed groups or classes or persons are granted the right to define themselves except women. For example, Native Americans, Blacks, and Asians get to decide who is and isn't part of their collective ethnic or cultural identity. If there is nothing unique or special about being Black or Asian, and if anyone could be Asian or Black, then this would essentially toss these identifies out the window. If it's possible to surgically create a female from a male, then why can't we surgically create an Asian person from a Caucasian, or surgically create a Black person? Women are adult females, and males are not female. The belief that trans males can be women just because they say they are was forced on women. We do not have accept it.
