  1. Hey Dirt,

(Me: female, work out a lot, like comfortable clothes, fairly OK with myself.) I love men (women, sometimes, but more often men), and I like to be the penetrative partner. It's not a power-play expression for me, more just the first inclination of what my body wants to do, and what I've wanted to do since I was young. I love and value my clit as a clit, but often wish it were big enough I could use it instead of a strap-on and be able to feel myself inside my partner. What do you think of this kind of sexuality? Why do you think it happens--would you see "mounting behavior" as having a hormonal source?

Thanks for your blog. I'm glad you're out here saying what you have to say. I'm young (23), and I think the trans movement is very, very young, and I'm glad some older people are calling the elephant when they see it.

  3. Jesse, female partners who desire to fuck their male partners is a lot more common than society would have you believe. It doesnt make you "gay" any more than it makes your male partner/s "gay". With the right strap on/positions you can stimulate your clitoris to the point of orgasm while penetrating your partner. Experiment.

  4. Do you think fiction or life stories of Trans people should be censored, so as not to influence women?

Why is the word "intersex" banned from your blog?

What do you think is the cause of Transmen who identify as gay and have always done, pre T?

Considering Transwomen and Transmen have very similar reasons for transitioning, why are your reasons for why they feel they need to transition so different?

Why do you ban Transmen from commenting here, when you are commenting on their lives and their opinions as long as they are respectful, are as valid as anyone elses?

  5. Hi Dirt!

This question is actually in regards to your newest post. (Transition: The Cure for being Female?)

Your unique perspective has definitely opened my eyes, I never would have pursued this particular line of thought on my own.

However, I am curious as to what your feelings and/or opinions are on M2T. If transition is the male medical machine's cure for being female, how do M2T fit into your beliefs? I know that you're fostering a female space and that issues pertaining to men do not fit within the scope of your blog, but I am truly interested in how M2T fits together with your overall beliefs regarding F2T.

Do you think fiction or life stories of Trans people should be censored, so as not to influence women? What others do in their spaces is their business.

Why is the word "intersex" banned from your blog? It is used far too often by those suffering with the trans disorder as a red herring.

What do you think is the cause of Transmen who identify as gay and have always done, pre T? Heterosexuality is the dominant sexuality of all humans.

Considering Transwomen and Transmen have very similar reasons for transitioning, why are your reasons for why they feel they need to transition so different? The majority of males who transition are autogynesphiles. Those who are gay men transition due to pathologically internalizing homophobia, both familial and societal. Fortunately as homosexuality has become more acceptable and more importantly visible in a positive light, we are seeing a large drop in gay males transitioning.

Why do you ban Transmen from commenting here, when you are commenting on their lives and their opinions as long as they are respectful, are as valid as anyone elses? It has been made clear here numerous times, this is a space for women to discuss misogyny and the gender straight jacket and how both serve to undermine the very notion of female/woman, by women either proud to be women or struggling to be proud of being women. If a woman on T is struggling to accept herself as the woman she clearly is, we would love to hear from her and offer her support.

Also no person is "banned" from commenting. Plenty of women comment who are clearly self hating females on T.

  7. Anon@8:54pm,

    Misogyny informs ALL transition.

  8. No answer for the gender queer two spirit question?

So we just delete that which is uncomfortable or challenges our preconcieved notions.....

  9. Given the thorough constant dismantling of the Gender Straight Jacket, your question was clearly obsolete.

  10. If somebody is 'two-spirited,' why would they force their body and mind into only one?

  11. The body is a complete unit, there arent "two" aspects of it.

The term "two spirits" originated among Indian cultures in order to explain those who didnt conform to the GSJ.

Again, read the blog, think, learn, expand.

  12. I'm the anon. above & I agree- meant that the theory of transsexualism doesn't jive with the idea of '2 spirit' anyway
