Female self hatred is clearly reaching our girls at younger and younger ages.

  1. This qualifies as stalking. If I wasn't so damn lazy (and a little paranoid about cops), I'd report you to the police. I hope someone else does.

  2. I don't think it qualifies as stalking. Anybody is allowed to collect and share public information found on the internet.

  3. It's definately not stalking. We're even discussing them in the very context that they are publically documenting themselves. It's not like anyone is sneaking into the trans self-help group and taking pictures and putting them online or hacking these girl's computers and putting their private videos online.

  4. However legal it may be, does not make it healthy or right. I believe the accumulation over time certainly suggests harassment and bullying, but proving it is yet another thing.

I think over time this blog has lost its punch and people on both sides are beginning to see it for what it is.

I would suspect the police would just see it as a bunch of dykes and trannys infighting and not take it seriously. Goes to show how far we have not come being accepted or protected by society.

  5. Once again, seeing these videos really gives the situation some needed perspective. Watch a few of them. See for yourself. Week after week. These seem like the norm in trans ftm videos on youtube.

How many people actually watch this stuff? How else are we going to find out what the kids are doing today? Online is where it's at. And this is what young girls are doing to themselves to fit into the gender binary. It's sad and shocking.

Dirt: can you post more about the link between cosmetic surgeons and the DSM4 and trans as fixable "illness" in the dsm. I saw a post a while back that referred to a connection between plastic surgery doctors, and the change in the dsm 4 or something. Can you write a post about this in as much detail as you have?

  6. "I believe the accumulation over time certainly suggests harassment and bullying.."

WHERE is the harassment? All Dirt has done is say -- here are some videos some people have made available, go look for yourself and see what you think.

Bullying? How? Is anyone saying -- here is their Facebook account, go and post some nasty messages.

Dirt just did a search on a PUBLIC website, something anyone could do, and posted a few results.

So, it's transphobia and hatred because we disagree with tha trans cant, and then bullying and harassment because someone provides a few links to publically available videos.

  7. One of this kids is 13! Hopefully somebody is gonna talk some sense into her before she's old enough to transition.
It's stuff like that that makes me never want to have kids :(

  8. I just recently met a young child. 15. Trans male. Watching him react with others and how he carries himself leaves no doubt in my mind that he is indeed the young man he insists he is.

Before his mother allowed him to transition he was a cutter and constantly locked in his bedroom.
Now he is vibrant, socialy engaged and no longer is cutting.

Isn't that good enough? This young person is no longer a self menace. This kid went from so introverted and cut off from the world it was worrysome, to a member of the local LGBT comunity and being active in life in his schools extra curicular activities.

Even if he traded one type of crazy for anouther form of crazy at least it isn't scarry crazy.

  9. "Watching him react with others and how he carries himself leaves no doubt in my mind that he is indeed the young man he insists he is."

Okay, which just means that 'being a young man' is a SOCIAL role that she seems to be carrying off quite well.

How you carry yourself is LEARNT.

Plus swapping onr form of crazy for a slightly more socially functional form of crazy isn't the same as actually addressing the root of the problem -- and has the downside that this particular razy may lead to irreversible consequences (i.e. surgery).

  10. yeah, what is a male supposed to carry himself like? and what is the required female carriage?
i do not understand why people who seem to be intelligent and questioning in other matters refuse to move beyond this point (she's a boy because she says so/ she's a boy because she acts 'like a boy') when dealing with this particular issue.

  11. Obviously, if a girl is rough-housing with the boys and not gossiping with the girls about makeup, she's TOTALLY male! Duh...

  12. Dirt, thank you so much for posting these! How else would I find out about other people like me? Thanks for making this trans* community stronger by connecting us ;)

  13. "Before his mother allowed him to transition he was a cutter and constantly locked in his bedroom.
Now he is vibrant, socialy engaged and no longer is cutting."

Clearly, being forced into a narrowly defined role made the child deeply unhappy. When the awkward social expectations were removed, the depression lifted. There is no gender mysticism needed to explain this.

"Even if he traded one type of crazy for anouther form of crazy at least it isn't scarry crazy."

If dangerous propaganda has made an otherwise sane person unhappy, replacing it with more propaganda is not a permanent fix. And if someone is truly mentally ill then they will remain so regardless of what whacky philosophies they latch onto.
