Trans Male Angry over Gays and Lesbians right to Marry

A male transitioner pens an article for the NY Times, bitching,moaning and begrudging because now in NY, gays and lesbians who fought politically since 1969, now have the right to marry. This also means, trans men and women who ID as gay or lesbians also now have the right to marry. But since they legally could marry before so long as they didnt legally change their sex(not that they can change their sex in anyway regardless), apparently the male transitioner doesnt see that as "progress".


He also doesnt believe gays and lesbians are doing anything for trans rights! Yeah, as opposed to all the rights trans people have garnered for gays and lesbians since they conveniently attached themselves to the gay and lesbian movement! Gays and lesbians naturally work toward and for gay and lesbian issues, why too then isnt the trans political movement doing the same???? Why is this community so hell bent on everyone and their mother doing the hard fucking work for them???? No one handed the minuscule gains gays and lesbians have created for us, these gains were fought for and far too many times, died for.

Bruce Cockburn sings in his song Lovers in a Dangerous Time "Sometimes you're made to feel as if your love's a crime --But nothing worth having comes without some kind of fight --Got to kick at the darkness 'til it bleeds daylight"! If the trans community has more pressing issues to pursue, no one, least of all gays and lesbians are stopping them. This article clearly exemplifies what I have been writing about lately, the T in the LG(b) T is NOT a gay and lesbian ally when they can begrudge legal rights made for gays an lesbians! Rights they have in EVERY state in America, rights we can only count on one hand.

This is sickening, and becoming more sickening!

The Trans Community's Dependence on the Male Medical Machine, a Case for Removal from the GL

The Male Medical Machine has a LONG history of maltreating gays and lesbians. Despite homosexuality/lesbianism having been removed from the DSM in 1973, 40+ years later there are still medical programs designed to "cure" gays and lesbians of their/our "disease".

Gay males have had their testicle hooked to electrodes, then electrocuted if they showed interest in sexual images of men shown to them by doktors.

Lesbians have been pressured  (raped) to have sex with males, including the male doktors making the suggestion to "cure" them/us of their/our love of women.

Lesbians who have painful issues with their internal female parts have and are regularly denied hysterectomies by the male medical machine even as out and proud lesbians because as females we're expected like "good women" to have some man's children.

Both gays and lesbians have historically been committed to mental asylums, simply for being gay/lesbian.

Lesbians have been historically committed to asylums even when not acting on their lesbian feelings, but for not partnering/bending to men's will.

Lesbians have been determined to be "witches" through "medical practices" and burned alive for centuries.

Gays and lesbians have historically been injected with various drugs of the day to "cure" them of their homosexuality.

Both gays and lesbians have been painfully, medically experimented on by the male medical machine to both see how we tick and to "fix" us.Gays and lesbians have been legitimized as abnormal by the male medical machine for centuries.

Gays and lesbians committed to mental asylums for our "unnatural" behaviour were routinely given brain damaging electro-convulsive therapy in order STRAIGHTEN us out. 

Thousands of gays and lesbians in the US alone have been ice-pick lobotomized.

While this smattering of horrors at the hands of the male medical machine doesnt even begin to cover the horrors committed (and still being committed) against gays and lesbians, it is enough that a blind man can see the male medical machine has and isnt a friend to gays and lesbians. However the male medical machine is CORE to the trans community!

Not only does the trans person fully and completely rely on the male medical machine for their unnatural trans state, they rely on the male medical machine to maintain their trans status for THE REST OF THEIR LIVES! Gays and lesbians literally risked not only their livelihood, but their very lives to force the male medical machine to remove us from their medical bible, the DSM. The Trans community as a political group fear being removed from the same medical bible because many would prefer to remain being viewed as disordered so that national health care and individual insurance companies will pay for their tens of thousands of dollars worth of unnecessary surgeries and life requirement of drugs.

Even if/when transgenderism is removed from the DSM, the trans community will remain in the pocket of the male medical machine for their very existence. A machine that has historically not been and still isnt a support of gays and lesbians.

Given all this I have to ask, with a group whose entire existence is dependent on the male medical machine, a machine still interested in the destruction of gays and lesbians, is it wise to continue having the trans community attached to the gay and lesbian movement???

Transmen and PRO-Misogyny

The other day I left a post offering any woman who was interested in working towards loving herself a chance with some one on one conversation with me and how I learned to love the woman I am. A few commented that my posts alone have helped them while other comments left were complaining I should not be advocating a "trans cure", that trying to "cure" someone trans may lead to "suicide" and another leaving an address for a complaint service.

"Trans" was not mentioned once in the post I'm speaking of, interesting that some trans would think that females who want help learning to love themselves would be considered "trans"! Especially given that ALL females suffer from internalize misogyny to varying degrees! Last I heard females seeking the never ending state of transition were doing so because they are really male, rather than females who hate themselves for being female???? Sounds contradictory to say the least!

None the less, how sad, pathetic and PURE misery loves company is it that those in the life long transitional state would try and stop a female who wants help with her internalized misogyny?? This female hatred only reinforces what is truly informing transition.

Is the Gay and Lesbian Community Partly to Blame for Trans Trending?

Has the gay and lesbian community made the trans disorder grow by legitimizing it when we attached it to the gay and lesbian movement? Are we also doing a huge disservice to trans individuals by enabling their disorder when we acknowledge them as their chosen sex?

Trans Politics are NOT Gay and Lesbian Friendly

The above pic taken from this website, I think the penis with the sign on the far right the most interesting, given GID wouldnt exist if those who claim to be trans actually did love themselves.

From the same trans website:  "Gender identity is who one is. Sexual orientation is to whom one is attracted. [FN59] Transgender people have all sexual orientations: some transgender people are straight, some are gay, some are bisexual, and some are queer. [FN60] Yet, such a statement is problematic. As soon as we recognize that there are more than two genders, the terms "homosexual," "heterosexual," and "bisexual" no longer make sense. For instance, I am someone who identifies as somewhat male, but not completely, as mostly trans, perhaps as trannyfag. So, am I "homosexual" only if I am attracted to others who have the exact identification that I do? Am I heterosexual if I'm attracted to anyone who does not have my exact identification? The terms "homo-", "hetero-", and "bi-sexual" presume a world with only two genders".

Not only does this relegate homosexuality and lesbianism to one dimensionalism, it also chooses to dismember homosexuality and lesbianism by conveniently refuting the foundation of male and female. Meaning if "female" can be taken apart at the core, lesbians do not and cannot exist. 

"There is no one way to be transgender. I want to highlight this statement: there is no prototypical transgender experience".


This political statement since the "T" is attached to the "GL" undermines gays and lesbians, because as a lesbian, there IS a nucleus to the female/lesbian experience regardless of race, religion or class.

If "male" and "female" can be dismantled by trans politics, every single right and equality gays and lesbians have fought and (some died) for in the past 40+ years can be lost, including the recent states that have passed equal marriage rights. 

THIS is a MUST read for every gay and lesbian. 

If there is so little common ground with trans politics, why does the trans community insist on being included in gay and lesbian politics?
