A Quick Reminder...

  1. It is so irritating that trans people have claimed dysphoria. They think everyone who is "cis" should shut up and stop hating their bodies. Most girls have something they don't like on their bodies, they just handle it in better ways than chopping their breasts off...

  2. Anon @ 7:03,

I don't think anybody claims that if you're not trans you must think you have a perfect body and not have a single thing that bothers you about it. But there is a huge difference between having a body image issue and gender dysphoria. When someone has something they don't like about their body, that's one thing, but feeling like you don't belong your own body is a totally different story.

  3. CJ - feeling like part of your body doesn't belong to you, I would argue, is dissociation. The dissociation I experience has not been resolved but the dysphoria has, and I have to agree with Dirt that the dysphoria was a product of the world we live in. In my experience dissociation is not unpleasant in itself, it's just there.

  4. If only these treatment had been available to me back then. Imagine all the money, but especially the emotionnal and psychological pain I would have avoided. I lost my teen years as well as my 20's because of this body that was not mine. All this because of fucking people like Dirt and others who can't get their head out of their asses and finally listen to what we say. But it goes through one ear to the other. You people should be fucking ashamed of yourself!

  6. Guys... you're wasting your breath. Dirt will NEVER listen - nor will most of her sheep. But you know what rocks?!? They don't matter :) You get to make the choices that are right for YOU in this lifetime and by letting them get to you, you give them way too much power over you. It's dirt's blog to spew her skewed opinions all she wants - it's a free country (sort of) and this is but one little teeny speck on the net. It only affects you if you let it :)

  7. Extrospection - You're right, Dirt's blog is a drop in the ocean, but what do you think the rest of the ocean is? A vacuum? Nobody gets to make a choice that is 100% free from outside influences. Don't be naive.

So, let's jump up and down on Dirt (because we can) whilst IGNORING all those in society who REALLY have it in for trans people (and gay people, and lesbians, and sissy men etc etc). Who do I mean? O, MEN of course -- and you can't make them go away by wishing and whistling.............

O, but we CAN'T admit that, can we, because that's who we want to be, or claim we already are................
