Trans Trending-Who is Transitioning

In just keeping a tiny track of those Trans Trending for the last year or so, one thing stands out as much as the misogyny behind Trans Trending, the girls leaping onto the Trans Trending bandwagon are getting younger and younger. And now we have the heart-attack-waiting-to-happen aka "Chaz" Bono doing the family show Dancing with the Stars. This will give further legitimacy to the gender straight jacket harnessing these young women, and now girls, straight into the arms of the ultimate in female self hatred: TRANSITION!!!

I'm sending DWTS every Trans Trending Post, along with a host of "top" and "bottom" mutilative pics of Trans Trenders, letting this show see exactly what it is REALLY representing. I suggest my readers also write into this show and let them know the harm this reality TV worthy train-wreck that is "Chaz" can and will cause to thousands of young girls in the absence of a clear and present feminism.

  1. One of the reason that people are transitioning earlier today is because it has more publicity. Do to internet, television what have you. People are realizing that they are not alone. It's the same reason why so many gay people are out today. Just sixty odd years ago people were taught in school to be aware of the "homosexual menace" [which was typically a "creepy" old male coming to rape young children.]. People knew gay people existed, but if you were gay you weren't out. It wasn't safe to be.
Typically people who do transition have known for a good part of their life. However up until recently it wasn't safe to be out. In fact it still isn't necessarily safe depending on where you live. People are able to see that they're not alone.

  2. Wrong Miss Parker, girls and young women are even more unhappy with their bodies/selves do to the conservative backlash against feminism and the tightening of the gender straight jacket per hyper femininity that is impossible for females to attain.

I agree more are transitioning because of their easy access to media/internet, hence Trans Trending. We saw the same thing happen to young women/girls with anorexia. Are you saying that anorexics knew from an early age they were meant to be "model" thin and now since they have wide access to Pro-Ana websites/YTs etc that they're realizing they are "not alone"?

What an evil thing to do. I have a mind to report you to the authorities.

You've gone too far this time. I don't even care for Chaz Bono. I think he's a trainwreck and a false representation of the transsexual community. But your intentions here are completely wrong and evil. Sending DWTS pictures of others genitalia???? Mind you, without the permission of those whom you have robbed the pictures from? What on Earth is the matter with you? DO you truly think that this family show will welcome your disgusting agenda??

I am going to alert every LGBT center that I know of what you are doing so that your gross intentions will be publicly ostracized.

No lesbian has a RIGHT to lead a witch hunt like this. You have NO room to do this. You are no where near what heterosexuals have respect for. DO YOU NOT SEE THAT YOU ARE TOO LOW ON THE FOOD CHAIN OF OPPRESSION TO EVEN IMPLY THAT YOU ARE IN ANY WAY HATEFUL???

I am so disgusted by you it is unreal. You've gone too far this time.

    Too far.

Shame on you. Truly. I will seek the full extent of the law as far as I can go.

  4. Every time you post one of these, I look at these young women and I get tears in my eyes. Such a loss to our society. Such a tragic, heartwrending loss.

Already, allegedly, there are more males born than females. Now the females are trying to become males by the legions.

I used to think postmodern Queer Theory was pretty cool. I never dreamed in a million years it would lead to this complete and total insanity.

  5. Not sure it's entirely on topic, but I've been noticing while watching the US Open on TV a pharmaceutical commercial running regularly- it's for testosterone (which they're calling 'T' just like the transes do) for men- to give them higher sex drives and more energy... in today's world where bodies and their chemistries are expected to be tweaked and altered at will, and where testosterone's effects are considered admirable, along with all the disrespect that goes along with being female and not conforming, how could this FTM trend not be happening now? Throw in bullshit 'queer theory' and I see a total collapse of logic and nature and female power.

  6. I think it's funny these "men" post pictures of their genitalia everywhere (part of the histrionic personality disorder, no doubt,) and then freak out when someone saves those pictures to use for something besides exhibitionism. Do these people REALLY NOT UNDERSTAND "fair use"?

If you don't want your genitalia on the internet, DON'T PUT IT ON THE INTERNET!

  7. The show is about dancing, not about what someone is or isn't. I myself will be writing the show as well as everyone else I post this crap to.

    Thanks for letting us know!

  8. It makes me sad every time I see pictures of these girls and young women.

As for Chaz Bono, I really can't see Chaz Bono inspiring anyone to do anything other than hit the gym. I doubt that teens will look at Chaz Bono and go, wow, cool, I want to be just like Chaz! Chaz looks like Rush Limbaugh. Nothing hot or exciting or cutting edge there. Come to think of it, Chaz might even have the opposite effect of making teens NOT want to transition!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Chaz being on the show is not going to turn people transgender. You do not turn transgender. They are not going to be talking about the transition or promoting it. They will be dancing. This is not a great tragedy, it is a dancing show. get over it.

  10. So Trans people have to hide away and shouldn't show themselves in public or at least not out themselves as trans in case it rubs off on our children? sounds familiar.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Hey 2:20
Stop comparing transsexualism to homosexuality please
One has NOTHING to do with the other

    ReplyDelete
  12. I didn't say anything about homosexuals. however its nice to know you found a similarity between the prejudice against the two.
So i guess you believe this kind of attitude towards homosexuals is disgusting but against trans people it is justified. nice.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Sending pics of genitals to a network over a TV show? That's even worse than these trans trending posts. I have no words. I am against that. I'm sorry.

    ReplyDelete
  14. no, I just think they're 2 entirely different issues.
transsexualism is generally about living in disguise based on society's expectations while homosexuality is about who one is attracted to, and hopefully about living openly.

    ReplyDelete
  15. To clarify, 3:30, I wasn't comparing homosexuals to trans people, in any way shape or form, just the attitudes often aimed towards the two.
To say some people shouldn't be aloud to be seen in public is pretty sick. Like men telling their wife's to keep their heads covered in public.
From what i have read, Dirt believes trans is a cult/ trend/ mental illness.
So i guess anyone who is part of a cult, trend or has a mental illness shouldn't be aloud in public or on TV.
ohh but trans is a "destructive" trend, where people engage in body modification/mutilation. so i guess anyone who is a part of the body modification "trend" also shouldn't be aloud in public or on TV. from men that look like lizards to women that have breast enlargement. because it might rub off on our younger generation, right?
    where does it end?
Where does body mod end and trans begin? is it the "mutilation" that offends dirt or is it the reason behind it? what if someone wants a more "masculine" body but believes wholeheartedly they are female? where is the line? T? body mods? or is it the moment a female believes she is really male?
Dirt is trying so hard to make the world see things the way she sees things. like some kind of religious fundamentalist trying to push their personal beliefs on the world and make them live by their rules.
of course theists believe in fairy tails and some of their beliefs are sick and possibly damaging to their offspring/followers, of course some people engage in hobbies that are dangerous, or film themselves doing stupid shit and then get copied by the younger generation, but I'm proud to live in a country where we can have our own beliefs and express ourselves the way we want. we cant all worry about being role models or we could never do the things that we find fun or make us happy.
I'm not even going to argue weather transition is "right" or "wrong" because it doesn't matter! You could argue that the people from the show jackass are harming themselves and will regret it when they are older and that their activities rub off on young people who adopt the same attitude etc etc.
but who cares? its completely your choice if you want to jump off a roof in to a pool, or go through the transition process, and no, I'm not saying the two are the same thing.
Im not saying transition is this or that, I'm just saying so what? freedom of expression ftw.

    ReplyDelete
  16. also, society's expectations is for men to be men and women to be women.

    ReplyDelete
  17. dirt, your a freaking retard. misogyny has nothing to do with this. these people are doing it at their own free will. all this bullshit you put is because deep down (while obvious) you hate men; it cannot get any more difficult. just to be short, my your own god dam business. you can't tell other people the fuck they can do to their bodies you dictating fucking idiot. anyways your garbage and spread lies so these misandrist could listen to your gospel and then they easily drink your "cool-aid". yeah, like the one about the male medicine machine. i proved that in a short years it is going to be run mostly by women. their really is no patriarch system anymore in america. get it over you stone cold man-looking motherfucker.

  18. I'm pretty sure dirt never said transsexuals shouldn't be 'allowed' on TV or in public.
And 6:31? well, what can be said about such an idiotic post?

    ReplyDelete
  19. It is essentially what she is saying, she doesn't want a transman on some tv show because young people will see.

    ReplyDelete
  20. "I'm pretty sure dirt never said transsexuals shouldn't be 'allowed' on TV or in public."

She may have not directly said that, but the fact that she takes such issue with Chaz Bono being on TV sure makes it seem that she thinks it.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Noone would want to copy Chaz. Hes a pig. If you've seen shows with him on it, hes an apsolute bastard to his poor girlfriend. Is really cruel to her.
And he looks awful and is attention seeking as fuck. I dont know whether hes Trans or not but Ill take his word for it.
No Trans person I know looks up to or likes him.

  22. It isnt a matter of copying, it is a matter of a celebrity legitimizing the most brutal form of misogyny. Fearful parents see this shit jump to the idiotic conclusion that there little boy who loves dolls or little girl who hates dresses is TRANS!

    ReplyDelete
  23. No Dirt, Most parents are not cool with Trans people and in my case My mother disowned me.
Parents are generally cool with other people transitioning but when its their own kid, do whatever they can to stop it.

Also people arnt stupid enough to jump to that conclusion. You have very little faith in people

    ReplyDelete
  24. >>Fearful parents see this shit jump to the idiotic conclusion that there little boy who loves dolls or little girl who hates dresses is TRANS!<<

Etch, how did you read this as Dirt saying parents were cool with it? Are you even really reading what's being said here any more? By all of us who aren't on the transwagon? 'Seems like you're always looking for an argument and so that's always what you see is something to contend with. Has it ever occurred to you that you exist in a CONTEXT of the history of women on the planet? It doesn't begin with you. It doesn't end with you. You're part of a continuum.
You're not actually breaking ground. You're turning your back on ground that was fought for with blood and tears. You're selling your heritage for some testosterone. And the sad thing is, I have a feeling you don't even know what a deep and rich history of radical feminism which has proceeded you. Which has given its history for you to even have the OPTION to betray it.

  27. *sighs*
Because my "heritage" is more important than my own personal happiness. Feminism is a good ideal in some ways but all radical feminism does is alienate people.

I read what Dirt said as her saying as exactly how she wrote it.

    > Parent has gender non conforming child
    >Sees Chaz Bono/ Transgenderism on tv in a positive light
    >KID MUST BE TRANS

A parent would have to be cool with Transgender people to come to that conclusion.

    >>By all of us who aren't on the transwagon?<<

Im on a wagon now, I chose to be miserable. Be disowned by my family. Not be able to finish education. All on some type of whim? Because I wanted to be trendy? That may actually be off the point but just "transwagon?". *Major Headdesk*

    >>. Has it ever occurred to you that you exist in a CONTEXT of the history of women on the planet? <<

No actually, I completely forgot that women existed or that without women fighting for womens rights, I would not be able to transtion, I would not be able to have my own life and make my own choices. Im totally unaware. Im that uneducated
Ps. That was a retarded question

    >>You're turning your back on ground that was fought for with blood and tears. You're selling your heritage for some testosterone. And the sad thing is, I have a feeling you don't even know what a deep and rich history of radical feminism which has proceeded you.<<

Well that was great of those women to do and Im happy they did it but Im not going to force myself to be unhappy so I respect my heritage and history. Thats idiotic. Its like never visiting Germany because of WW2. Also "proceed" me? I cant tell the future.

Oh and Im not actually annoyed, I just found your whole comment ridiculous, malinformed and just bad logic. Ive said it once and Ill say it again, Ladies, Learn to Logic.

  28. soooo i just stumbled onto this blog, and i just wanted to throw my two cents into the ring as it were.
it's really interesting to read about all the arguments and information on this website, regardless of whether or not it is true.
to explain a little further, i am currently living as a lesbian, in a healthly longterm relationship. i am out to pretty much everyone, because once you cut your hair super short, the only thing people can seem to think is "GAY".
i found it really interesting, dirt, that you said this:
"But unless you were born intersexed, you are either male or female."
did you mean in terms of sex? there is a difference between the word sex and gender, because regardless of how those words have been defined in the past, they have been remolded to fit the changing social conversation around gender.
i am a firm believer in gender being a spectrum, just like sexuality. however, gender identity and sexuality are two separate things. so, that being said, there are many ways to be a man, and many ways to be a woman. our society has definitely been corrupted by the patriarchal model, but the only way to heal those wounds (i believe) is to really embrace the fact that people are going to choose to embrace their sexuality and gender in whatever way they need to feel closer and closer to who they are inside.
this past year, i have moved farther and farther away from the perceived cultural norm of "female." i am constantly mistaken for a man, and i actually find it really sort of fun to live in this gray zone where people can't figure out what gender i am.
i think transsexualism makes people so uncomfortable is that it rocks the very tenets that we are raised on, as you said before dirt in your quote.
    penis = man
    vagina = woman
biologically speaking, there is no arguing with this. but on a psychological level, people feel the way they do regardless of what others are telling them. i've known butch lesbians and transmen, and really really really gay men, and transwomen. i can honestly say that once someone finds an identity that they firmly resonate with, they are happy. and ultimately, life is about finding your own happiness.
once you add on the whole misogyny and the way that men have controlled society in the past, it becomes slightly more complicated. i personally have no issue with transsexuals, in fact i have been jealous of many of them in the past.
i think that the boundaries of gender and sexuality have been becoming more and more blurred in the past 20 years that i've been alive. i don't believe that all transmen are misogynists, and i don't think that they are anti-woman. in fact, some of the transmen that i know are better feminists than i am!
maybe my mindset is too far in the future, but i don't attach any importance to a person's gender, race or sexual orientation. i think in order for misogyny to be eliminated and for equal rights for women, we, as the gay or queer or whatever-you-want-to-call-it community, need to:
    1. become more understanding of each other, meaning that transmen understand butch lesbians and vice versa and everything else under the sun.
    2. understand that as a community we have been marginalized by society because we challenge many many norms and then figure out how to enlighten the straight world to how we think about gender and sexuality
look, if tomorrow you woke up and the gender binary was gone and there was no more oppression of women, what would that world look like? and then once you figure that out, step back into today and try to connect the dots. how are we going to get there from here?
i am proud of my vagina, and i never want to alter it surgically. but i am tired of being put in so many boxes simply because of what is in my pants, which by the way, is none of your business.
sorry for the long rant, but i would appreciate your input

You have a paranoid schizo with borderline personality disorder who hates men but mostly transmen who claims to be a butch dyke yet judges whether someone else is butch or not. Maybe in her eyes she is butch and butch means that you have to be a hateful ass bitch!

Chaz being on DWTS is no big deal. You wouldn't say anything if a dyke was on there. Just admit that you hate anything male. Obviously you hate yourself then as I am sure you get pegged as a man 99% of the time. Actually, you look like the army dude on avatar, only he is attractive to say the least. You? Well, we won't get into that shit as you are as ugly outside as you are inside.

Just so you are informed, the dean of this university (whom happens to be a strong African American female) has reviewed the subject matter of my presentation. She personally informed me that she finds you're blog "despicable beyond human description" and that I should do all in my power to expose you as the bully you are and stop you from causing pain and even possibly another suicide. 47. "I hate this endlessly repeated "gender is a spectrum" nonsense. It erases the hierarchal nature of gender and acts like it's just a matter of whether you like skirts/trousers/both."
so you're saying that men are better than women?
that sounds pretty fucked up to me.
it's not about what clothes you wear, that's a superficial way to think about it. it's about how you FEEL in relation to your gender (not sex), and how you express that. maybe its that you prefer skirts to shorts. but clothing is just clothing, there is no "male" clothes or "female" clothes, just what society has taught us to see clothes as. so i think your comment is not only not constructive, it's based on furthering the "gender binary." i say that because the "gender binary" is something that has been put into place by society: that men wear baggy pants, have short hair, smell bad, love sports, and hate women, and that women love to cook, clean, raise children, wear dresses and pander to men.
you should think more about what you say before you say it.

  48. I too have been working on taking down Lynn Marie Baker. Not just her blog but herself as a person. 49. Bully Blog, you seem like more of a bully than anyone here!

    ReplyDelete
  50. "so you're saying that men are better than women?"

I said gender is a hierarchy, not sex. Sex is simply a neutral biological fact. Gender is the social roles assigned by sex that not only restrict the behavior of both sexes, but help prop up the system of male dominance.

"it's not about what clothes you wear, that's a superficial way to think about it."

I'm just using clothes as an example - you could just easily substitute physical mannerisms, hobbies, and other behaviors that can be seen as "feminine" and "masculine".

"it's about how you FEEL in relation to your gender (not sex), and how you express that."

But this still doesn't tell anyone what gender (as you define it) IS. And if social gender cues are completely unrelated to this gender, then how do you express it?

  53. "but on a psychological level, people feel the way they do regardless of what others are telling them."

That's a great big assumption right there, that people 'feeling' male or 'feeling' female can be divorced from the gendered messages we get from the moment we are born. After all, what the the second question that gets answered after birth -- congratulations, you have a healthy baby girl, and how people interact with that baby from that point on is determined by their assumptions as to what sex the child is. So, dress them in pink, and people will say -- isn't she good, isn't she quiet, dress them in blue and it's isn't he strong, isn't he active doesn't he look just like his dad.

Assuming we can escape all that on some level when it comes down to us building our sense of self, and what is body does and should look like and what we are going to do with it, is just fantasy.

    ReplyDelete
  54. "these people are doing it at their own free will. all this bullshit you put is because deep down (while obvious) you hate men;"

If you really believe that anyone chooses what they choose to do independantly of society and upbringing, then you're ignorant about psychology and social science, as well as good ole commonsense!

And reacting so abusively when someone has the audacity to point out that one reason WHY some females may transition is because of what they've been taught about the position and status and meaning of females in this society just shows me that you can't answer that point, hence would prefer to pretend it was never asked.

Equally hateful, equally ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  57. "who was outing "bad, evil" lesbians to everyone "

Uh, putting a picture of yourself on Youtube documenting your transition, where everyone can see it, is outing yourself. If you don't want to be 'outed', don't post the video.

Sheesh, is this really the best you can come up with?

    ReplyDelete
  58. I do believe the argument was "If you don't want your family to know you're a lesbian, don't put that information on the internet". Because being out in one manner is totally the same as being totally out.

    ReplyDelete
  59. "I do believe the argument was..."

I'm not at all clear WHAT the argument was, what was so bad about re-posted pictures that people had already put up on YouTube.

If you put up a video documenting your transition, then in effect you have already indicated your willingness to MAKE IT PUBLIC, unless you restrict access.

If you want to talk about your transition, but not be outed, you don't post pictures, and post under a pseudonym. It's not hard.
