How would you best describe girl?

How would you best describe young woman?

How would you best describe woman?

How would you best describe old woman?

Use as many adjectives as you can...

  1. The only description I can think of for any of these is:
    Human with XX chromosomes.

  2. @eliz

and you why people have such poor and low expectations of women.

  3. All eliz's comment did was perpetuate the despicable idea that female's have a one track mind capable of thinking of only one thing in one way.

    I agree with anon, 2:16PM.

    Nice one, eliz...

  4. Eliz's point is not that females have a one-track mind, or anything like that. Her point is that there's no qualities that are specific to women except (usually) chromosomes and (usually) body parts. To try to pigeonhole all women into one category or another is to have "poor and low expectations of women." Women are diverse, different, unique.

I dunno. Must be stupid day or something.

All females are XX, anything else is open.............

  7. I went to leave a comment but I think it's been covered. There is no one way to act female, to look female, or to be female. Just as there shouldn't be one way to look or act male.

  8. 1. Young female curious of the world around her
    2. Womanly in transition trying to find her place in this world
    3. Mature female knowledgeable of life’s experiences
    4. Full-grown female conversant of the ways of the world

  9. "There is no one way to act female, to look female, or to be female."

You can be female or not, simple biology. SO there is only one way to BE female, but anyway you want to go about being a female human being.

If there weren't strictures on how females were supposed to look, then there would be very little meaning to 'looking female', or 'acting female'.

  10. Human, human, human and human. All other things will vary, since everyone is unique and different. Women consider themselves to be women. Some women are what we currently call butch, while others are femme. Other women are none of those things. Some women like men, some women like women, some women like people. Sometimes, you mistake someone for being a woman when they aren't. Sometimes, a woman gets mistaken for being another gender. Some women look a certain way, others look another way. Some women are tall while others are short.

  14. "Human, human, human and human. All other things will vary, since everyone is unique and different."

O where have my chromosomes gone to,
    O where is bi-ol-logy!
O where have my chromosomes gone to!
Please bring back my sex-x to ME!

Bring back, bring back, bring back my sex-x to ME, to ME etc

"Women consider themselves to be women."

Logic 101, because (most) biological women consider themselves to be women, DOESN'T mean you can invert it, hence that anyone who considers themselves a woman IS a woman.

"Sometimes, a woman gets mistaken for being another gender. "

(To be sung to the tune of in and out the dusty bluebells)

Woman refers to sex not gender,
woman refers to sex not gender
woman refers to sex not gender,
    why confuse the issues?

'Cept we all know why. On this musical excursion at the end of a long friday, I'll bid you adieu............

  15. Every woman is different, whether they are young, middle age or old. No one description can be applied. A women life experience reflects how she expresses who she is at that point in time. I am a butch loving femme, love, love, love. But they are different. I can’t find box big enough to put a description for them and don’t want to be put in a box either.

  16. Passion, by applying "butch", you just described a specific type of female! You also applied "femme" to yourself...lol
